This is a result of captcha being heavily implemented. According to the below quote, the behaviour should be changed soon.

bit of a late response but some bigger games take quite some time to open up, plus im mostly working with my laptop and not my desktop which is not nearly as powerful and i use that time to do other stuff in the meantime, it’s like a couple minutes of loading time
My places take over 10 seconds to load
might as well do something in that time.
