On an intermittent basis, various keyboard shortcuts fail to work. Shortcuts such as [CTRL]-D, [CTRL]-U, [CTRL]-G, [CTRL]-C, [CTRL]-X, [SHIFT]-[CTRL]-V, etc… However, after I issue the command from the menu (which always works), the shortcut seems to start working again. This is happening on both the legacy Explorer and the new beta Explorer that was recently enabled for all users. I had to revert to the legacy Explorer because the issue was so much worse using it.
Note: This is happening to others as well. I went and checked the shortcut key bindings and the bindings ARE there and correct. I started noticing this about mid-March or so. Take a look at the announcement here and see the number of people complaining about this issue: Next Gen Explorer now available for everyone!

The beta features that I have enabled are as follows:
Assistant Preview
Texture Generator
As for plugins, I have a bunch that are installed, but very few are enabled. The ones that are enabled are listed below with links to their details page on the Roblox store website:
The new Explorer UI had an issue selecting an object from top to bottom.
I don’t know if it was just me, but whenever I click an object from the start, hold CTRL + SHIFT, and then click where I want to select, it also highlights the middle. This feature is useful for quickly highlighting an object rather than holding the Left Mouse Click and Move.
For some reason, they swapped the key shortcut into ALT + SHIFT.
And yes, it’s annoying…
This would be problematic for those devs who have gotten used to the old shortcut keys, especially for Moon Animator users.
Well, I do like the new Explorer UI, but it needs some improvements.
I’m glad that Roblox gave us the ability to revert the change.
I’m sure in the future, the old Explorer we all loved will be removed.
if you were in the script editor when trying to do this then thats why. really dont know if its a bug but being in the script editor instead of the viewport disables all of you keyboard shortcuts for the explorer and only lets you use them in the script editor
We’ve been dealing with this for the past few days and it is beyond annoying. You should be able to code and use the explorer in tandem without any pitfalls.
