On another note, the bots are back and not using the /me command anymore. There must be a solution, like that one thing you have to do in order to join a group. It’s both convenient and prevents bots from joining.
I’m guessing you’ve not been on the website much. FUNCaptcha has been made tougher on the website, requiring multiple captchas, etc. and wasting time.
The captchas clearly do not work, but what else can Roblox do. (i dunno, like, make it harder to do bot things?)

Most of the usernames these bots take are illegible, I don’t believe they’re taking up too many usernames.
Earlier today, I created an account with a username that is just a single English word; there is a shortage of usernames, but you can still be creative
I get hit by a ridiculous amount of captchas while trying to join a group, even to the point where I never realize I didn’t join the group.
Captchas can also be bypassed via online service where live humans interpret / do what the captcha instructs, and return the result in an API. All of this for roughly 0.03 cents per API request. Bottom line: captchas aren’t the best way to prevent botting.
Well I guess that is true. Due to the fact bots have scrambled names.
I guess this is for the greater good? Most the time I see people only use it to pretend to be superior by making it seem as if they have admin or Robux scams which will just get your account stolen. It’s nice that we will be able to turn it off or on but I never found a real use for the /me command.
I think that’s a bit excessive cause they would probably just skip through it. Roblox did post a tweet on that subject a while back, but it did not change much. In games that have implemented tutorials for new players when they join the game for the first time somehow, people are confused about how to play the game even though there was a tutorial right in front of them. If they did add a safety tutorial explaining why you can’t generate free robux I’m sure young children would just skip through it.
This is about the in-game chat which doesn’t have captcha. Like even the whole topic here is called “In-game chat”
Also, the scrambled nonsense bots started having is moving closer & closer to average players usernames.
Another feature removed… Roblox is go down but grow up.
The feature still exists and can be enabled by developers, however, it was removed as most players don’t use it and it was primarily used by bots to scam users.
It is not entirely removed as said before in previous posts here. However, to enable it, you must manually enable it in your game. Oh, and if this were completely removed, developers could use some scripting skills to make this back in their game. However, keep in mind, there are reasons as to why ROBLOX makes a change in something and probably because they see it for the better.
That’s kinda scary. Possibly because they improved their naming automation or possibly due to name limit. Possibly that they scramble words for a username, though… some bot usernames look scary legit.
It is weird to see that no one else used this to roleplay . Majority seems to say no one used it
