Nobody asked for this at all, in fact many people would want a shorter waiting period. 3 was already a long time to wait. And now 7 days, why Roblox, please undo this change. We donāt need more safe environment, the current 3 days waiting period is enough time for Roblox to catch suspicious activity.

I agree with Roblox security needed to upgrade to prevent scamming, and/or fraud.
But I believe this would hurt developers more than it actually help to prevent scammers.
3 days are already painfully long for some developers.
the term of ādevelopersā in this case are pretty loose, as this will affect most players on the platform.
I highly suggest to revert this new update as it does more harm than good. We need to find better ways to prevent scammer, and/or fraud without damaging the players too much.
This is outrageous. So you take 30% and now we need to wait UP TO 7 DAYS for our revenue?? What is this?? Where is the so called āModeration Overhaulā which youāve been planning? Please reconsider this decision. I understand that ROBLOX needs better security but this is not the way and itās not helping in any way shape or form. To check the robux, 3 days was MORE than enough.

My OPINION
I donāt like this one bit. Being friends with @ozzy2299 and other clothing designers. I have slowly seen the impact of these changes to other communitys that I donāt really see.
For me, It is just a FEW LONG DAYS/ A WEEK for my income, THEN I HAVE TO DEAL WITH THE TAX and then I HAVE TO DEAL WITH THE WAIT FOR DEVEXā¦ It just doesnāt help at all. My friends have all even said the same thing and roblox really needs to redo this decision. Yes it help lower fraud but by impacting so many people who are doing things correctly,THIS IS PLAIN WRONG
My solution
How about making it so only amounts so big like 100K+ gets impacted but instead of 3 days - 1 week make it 2 days for everybody but 3 - 5 days for a big amount. It could Be even better if it says how long it will take so paying people is easier. Okay I need to make a 1 time payment to somebody on the 31st of October (example) It says it will arrive in 4 days after the 20th so I need to I can order it on the 27th for it to Be easy to know. As if I put it on another day it will be confusing. This is what I think would solve the problem

Why. Why. This just makes it harder for developers to pay people that collaborate with them.
Limiteds get more fraud in their direction that shirts and pants purchases. Overall, I think this is stupid, we canāt pay people in time, and even to DevEx, it takes upwards of a week.

First of all,
What about the āSUSā activities really even mean I mean people who devex actually make a living of it
Second,
We know that you work for money and not for free thatās how the world works you work you get money
And Finally,
I used to do commissions back in the day I had to wait for 3 days unless pay outs from group was a hella pain for me already but 3-7 days is just absurd, why? because if I get my game finished [hopefully] then sales of my game would take 3-7 days and would impact payment for me and my developers

There is good intention with this update, making it easier for transactions to be reverted. However I cant stress enough how much of a demotivating message this is.
There are many reasons why a 3 day period was bad enough. And Iāll stress that here
- As stated before, a developer or artist can get scammed by saying "they have the robux in pending, not pay up and steal the assets (rare but can still happen)
- Customer Support have been able to revert most fraudulent transactions in the three day period.
- Holidays/Weekends is not a valid excuse.
Solution 1:
Banks/PayPal only takes 5 days to process most transactions with real money, why? Because they actually have good support.
Instead of making the developers suffer, hire more CS team.
Solution 2 (More reasonable):
Make any pending sales from an account that sends a scam report ticket through support.roblox automatically put those fees in a secondary pending queue, which until has been cleared by CS, will be held there, not going to anyone. This completely circumvents the need for a seven day period
Increasing the pending delay is a āband-aidā fix and will fall apart in the next few years if not months or weeks.
If you are going to go through with this which I assume you are, removing the pending sales from purchases made to your own groups. Itās surprising that we donāt have an official way to dump funds into groups, having to use hacky methods like this

If you already have a way to check risk of fraud or abuse maybe make people with really low risk have that pending time like 1 day or completely 0.
Me as game developer already have problem with that 3 day waiting period. I advertise game every Friday because thatās when most players play, I make most of revenue in first 3 days and it comes before next friday, but when this update comes i can wait even a week.
3 days was sadā¦ I thought that was a long time.
However, 7 DAYS, that is one long wait.
Yes, I am aware that Security is the top priority for any company however is there no way?
30% off what you make, up to 7 days wait to get that 70% of robux.
Itās almost like Roblox just doesnāt want us to make Robux from their game.

Roblox isnāt trying to make āRobuxā and I think you are referring to money. This actually makes a lot of since. People have been able to make āillegalā deals.
If you were able to see how many payments get processed PER DAY, you would be thinking differently. This would give them more time to check over the requests.
I really wondering whatās going on for them to do this beacue you guys take most of our revenue like now communitys could lose there devopers hope it can get re thought about or even if they made it where you need to verify that you want to buy it or sell it

I use group funds to pay my staff team and my games are not linked to the group I have to wait 3 days which can be annoying, but waiting 7 days will just be very upsetting !

No, you donāt have to wait 7 days to get paid. You have to wait 3-7 days, and even then, Iām assuming itāll lean more towards the shorter side.
Andā¦ weāre back to the bad Roblox updates again. Just like I predicted. All good things must come to an end.

Bruh, why do you made this decision? Now we need 7 DAYS TO GET THE PENDING ROBUX! I thought it was good news but no. I thought it was going to be 1 day or 2. This is turning to EA.

Why would they do that? It is like saying they should not have lowered the tax from 90% of you do not have premium to 30% and kept it that way.
Not to be rude or anything, but the designers and developers was asking for the complete opposite. This is hard earned money, yes I agree with you that there is terrible scams out there but 3 days should be more than enough for you moderators/administrators, we shouldnāt be the ones having to wait longer because use canāt manage to monitor all the sales within the 3 day period.
