Roblox is giving delayed and incorrect profile statuses. My account is NOT hacked and I have double checked my security settings. Several Roblox accounts are currently experiencing this issue on multiple clients.
Expected behavior
I expect profile statuses to be accurate and not be significantly delayed.
Probably it’s because the Roblox platform is delaying to show off your status.
Maybe wait after playing one hour and then check if the game status is still on.
Hopefully, it will update soon.
This still should NOT be heavily delayed. The status delays have lasted hours on certain occasions for me.
Then yes, it does be a bigger problem.

There does seem to be significant delay, or it might not even update at all (From what I can tell)
Same issue here guys I hope Roblox fix that all my friends dming me saying when they join it throws them in the last server i was in and I’m not even there my pc is off
Yes I am also having this error. Hopefully it is fixed soon because it scared me at first.
Having the exact same issue, was showing I was playing a game even though I wasn’t on my main account and was on an alt.
Roblox has been doing this to me for the past week, and I let it slide. But now, it’s just being annoying and I cannot join my friends.
Roblox is delaying your status by I don’t know how long, a game that you played a few hours ago will say you are playing at the moment. If you/or your friend tries to join you, it causes an error. Let’s hopefully fix this…?
Same thing, I joined the game in the morning for a moment, it’s already night and it’s still showing that my avatar is playing the game, even though I logged out of my account a long time ago, I even started joking that my avatar liked the game so much that it decided to play it without me, but it can be quite scary when someone thinks they’ve been hacked.
Clearly there is a status bug.
It does the same thing to me, the most we can do is wait for a fix.
+1, My friends’ status shows that they are playing a game from 5+ hours ago. Really annoying since there is no way to join them. Clearing cache seems to temporarily fix the issue, but after a couple refreshes, the problem comes back.
I’m also experiencing this. As of right now, I have been “in-game” for over two days now when I wasn’t.
this is happening to me to, it caused me to change my password several times in a frenzy… It’s only recent, and I didn’t join a game for 2 hours and yet it showed my account “in game” and when trying to join, it said “Experience restricted”
If it can happen for over 2 days then clearly this can last for long periods of time among users.
Yeah, people might think their accounts were compromised because of this bug. I hope this is fixed soon!
Also happening to me. After 20-30 minutes of leaving an experience it still shows I’m playing it on my profile and my friends home pages.
Same thing is happening to me for couple of days now
its terribly difficult to know if my friends are actually playing or if it s a delay from hours literal hours ago and it usually is
