I doubt this will happen, if anything this will potentially cause less games to be p2w as developers can simply earn robux by having players(though they need premium) play their game.

To be fair, this was expected with the fact that normal users now have nearly all benefits of premium users such as uploading shirts etc… Great to see we get something out of it haha…

Payouts is now becoming great way to not force microtransactions (wether it be cosmetic or gameplay) on players. Keep up the good work Roblox staff!

Realistically we shouldn’t need to appreciate anything, this is a business and we are basically the core work-force that make Roblox - well, Roblox. Without developers this platform simply doesn’t function, and for the longest time we have been on the short-straw in terms of profit, alot of that can be down to the spending of the company as they released public statistics of how they distribute the income - so hopefully after investor day, DevEx rates could potentially improve.
Roblox gets more money from purchasing Robux off the website, they get more money when a user buys a gamepass via tax, they get the Robux out of circulation when you DevEx and then the government proceeds to tax you for the money you earn from Roblox - so practically more than 60% of the original profit is lost to various taxes on the platform and then post-platform. If you calculate how much money they actually get in comparison to the developer - it’s generally crazy how much platform fees this platform charges in comparison to every other competitor on the market that functions in a practically similar manner.

As ROBLOX grows bigger and bigger expanding to different regions of the world, it is inevitable more users will be signing up and playing this game. I think that increasing the Premium Payouts is a great update for developers. I am excited for what ROBLOX has to offer and bring to the table in the next coming years.
