Internet Scary World is my personal project that I’ve been working on for the past month. The scary truth is that everyday kids playing on the platform are getting scammed, not even just kids we as a teenager also can get scams as well.
Earlier this year, I myself got scammed by HAR flies. I totally understand how you feel when you get scammed, It sucks. Now, as a Graphic designer on the platform, I knew I could at least do something to help the community to avoid and prevent scammers.
I decided to do a series of 3D Illustrations to inform and raise awareness of each type of scam, how dangerous it could be to how to prevent it.
For the overall theme and the logo of the project, I wanted it to be a delightful and colorful theme. So you may find some graphics to be a bit colorful or oversaturated. If you’re interested in the design process I’ll also include it below!
Most of the information that I researched are from Roblox itself and roblox wiki
So earlier today someone sent me this:
"I was wondering if me and my friend could use a 3D model of your character in the thumbnail artwork for a game we’re creating, I’m happy to pay you for your permission!
I can pay you like 8K Robux through group funds or t-shirt payment, but I will need you to send me the model for the avatar.
Here is a youtube tutorial showing you how to get your 3D model, if you are okay with my offer just get the model and send me it please
[A link to a yt vid]" The yt video was legit. I replied with this:
“You’re welcome to have it for free. Use this plugin to load avatars. Load Character Lite - Roblox”
I am still safe right?

I fully agree with what has been said here, Internet scam is a growing problem and a lot of it happens with new and upcoming developers. Having scam prevention posts like these help a lot. I absolutely love the artwork and know that this post shall help many. Well done and Thank you for posting this.

one small thing
Everythings good except this. This is misleading. Logging out does not make your account anymore secure, you only need to log out if you are on a public device, or someone has access to your device and you don’t want them to have access to your Roblox account.
