Don’t know I’m doing something wrong, But the review feature isn’t on my account yet.
And what I did was called a joke.
Using anything but Lorem Ipsum as a placeholder text is a cardinal sin and no one is changing my mind on that. The joke is that using a boombox model for the example is kind of strange considering the audio privacy update which significantly destroyed the usefulness of them.
Experience comments also allowed the ability to report comments if I recall correctly. Why would a communal report-based system work with this “Trusted” reviews system on the Creator Marketplace when it seemingly didn’t with experience comments (seeing as they cease to exist entirely now and reviews of experiences are simply restricted to just a thumbs up or down.)
This is great that this feature was finally added back to the new Creator Marketplace!
Off topic, but I find it hilarious how an old boombox was used for the example yet Roblox still hasn’t reopened the sound / music catalog to audio not uploaded by themselves like they said a long time ago they eventually would.
Click the review button next to the like and favorite count.
This is a really good addition. Will make searching for assets much easier, safer and in line with other platforms. A step in the right direction!
Back in the day it existed, but people spammed or used them as message walls and it got removed
There a text called review on the fide from description above the description click it to go to reviews
Update is great, but at this point you guys can disable comments on website as they are inutil if you can now review the product in the new marketplace website!
Very usefull. Keep rolling out these updates!!
In the original post, it would be helpful to let developers know:
- How to enable or disable this feature
- How to respond to a comment
We might change this UX later if this is confusing, but essentially, if you hit the “close button”, your “upvote” will be counted (as a rating), but no review will be written.
And this is the part where I slam my head against my keyboard, because I neglected to take this into consideration. Guess I’ll take the L on this one.
Unrelated note, but Y E S.
This is a nice addition to the Toolbox!
Something similar could be good for experiences too!
- Only those that acquire the asset are able to submit reviews. This helps improve reliability and authenticity of the feedback provided.
why not restrict the requirement to ID verified and user owns the asset? unless Roblox expects blackmarket to show up for buying botted user reviews
otherwise this is a good addition to the marketplace if no one abuses it
This reminds me of how steam reviews are where people can reward or mark a review as helpful or funny. I like this approach that the team has chosen. Very excited to see this update pushed out!
It is very confusing. It should get changed in my opinion.
Why does the filler text (in the comments of the image) refer to a subscription model? Are you planning on adding such a thing for plugins?
