I have been playing Roblox since 2008, and have always had an interest in development. I found Roblox back in the day through a flash game website ad. I got started with development through groups, and haven’t stopped since. I am most excited about my contributions to the Roblox Grand Republic Military, and its political wing the Roblox Grand Republic. In the Roblox community I help foster a positive and engaging group environment.
I study Political Science and have a great interest in youth voter apathy in democracies, and have written on how Roblox groups can generate an interest in voting!
Wow, finally! I’ve made it to new member even though I already have a Roblox toy, my game has a toy, I’m in the Roblox Character Encyclopedia, and my game is in the Roblox Top Adventure Games. Ah this was in 2016, my good friend showed me it. I used to play as a guest (lol) but then made a account!
It was January 2018 if I remember correctly, I started up Roblox Studio and started to begin my developing journey. The features and power of Studio amazed me, I knew this was a right choice of hobby.
I have gained 500! place visits, this might not be much but a start of my dream.
I have also built a castle and a whole fps map with my friend
Annnd I have programmed: Datastoring leaderstats, Starting camera frames with GUIs and much more!
My goal is to get even better at programming and become a master at it!
Programmer, I don’t just do Lua. I do discord.js and batch too!
I also remix music for fun

I found ROBLOX originally back in December of 2009. A friend at school had mentioned it to me and I figured I’d give it a try. I played for a little while as a Guest, loved playing two games in particular, one was about Helicopter Wars and another was some kind of zombie game where you go and rescue other players. Finally made an account soon after (dec 13th 2009).
I was always curious how games worked, especially when I started getting into clans back in 2011. I started tinkering with things. The first game I made was called “Destroy a Giant Noob!” which I believe was just full of rockets, bombs and, a nuke? For awhile, I just built stuff but then I got into scripting and now I do virtually no building but tons of scripting and UI work. It’s been great.
I had always wanted to become a member here on the Developer Forums and finally, here I am. I don’t know if I’ll really try to do much else, I’ve been on ROBLOX for quite some time, but if I do, it’ll just be for fun. I don’t have much interest in making a career out of ROBLOX (DevEx).
How did you find ROBLOX?
I found ROBLOX after watching my brother play it back in late 2010/early 2011. I joined in, and became indulged in the different games created by young developers.
How did you get started with development on the ROBLOX platform?
I discovered that pretty much anyone could create things and get paid (in both R$ and USD) so I began brainstorming ideas for designing. I’m pretty good at art, and I decided that I should pursue the art-creative aspect of development.
Current goals/achievements on the platform:
I’m going to contnue with digital art and GUIs, form a style that would suit well with games, then publish a public porfolio with a bunch of my work so I can get hired. Then work my way up as I gain experience and acknowledgement, as well as fidnign it easier to be recruited for a project or game.
What is your role in the developer community? (eg. GFX, UI Designer, Programmer, Builder etc):
My current role in the developer community is being a digital artist, as welling GUI designing.
Anything else you would like to include?
I usually have a lot of time on my hands during the weekends and school breaks, so it’s best to see if I’m available for an art project. Also, the time spent on a project depends usually on the motivation I have for it.
I’ve been a developer since about 2012 and I’ve been building trying to get into the original RBXDev forums but couldn’t. The newer developer forums give me a new way to access to the developer community.
I joined in 2011 with another account which I sadly has lost. I started development in 2012 when I stumbled across Studio. Even since that fateful day, I’ve gradually been developing. My goal is to probably create a front-page game where everyone could enjoy. I have multiple roles though, I build my own stuff, create my own scripts and I design my own UI.
Hello, I’m Devixlite. I’m glad to be a member of devforum! I found Roblox around the time of 2015-2016 because one of my now good friends showed me this website. I was inspired to start developing games because of some of my favorite developers. My current goal for the platform is to make a popular game and continue on from there and so also make unique games as I continue on my journey on Roblox developing. My role is a builder, but I’m trying to learn how to script also at the moment.
Hey, I’m EngiAdurite, a hobby scripter since 2014, originally Sezei.
English is NOT my strong language, but it is the only language which I know, that everyone on Roblox talks. (Hebrew speakers are rare to find, as well as Roblox not supporting RtL languages.)
I found Roblox when the advertising campaign was still a thing back in 2007, played on multiple accounts such as keekee850, Sezei, and V1V, all of them got hacked (The most recent was Sezei). I only got keekee back recently, around three months ago.
I originally started as a Builder in 2012, playing at free build games like ‘build a shop’, ‘build a car and race’ and what not. I only started scripting when I saw very ‘advanced’ games like Mad Murderer (Around 2014) being on the front page.
Currently, my goal on Roblox is to be widely known, but not ‘famous’ as some people would say in Discord.
My role in the developer community, or at least, I am aiming to be a Scripter (Programmer I guess), and I am willing to help with anything I can.

Hey! Im new to the forum and just wanted to introduce myself.
Im Elocore and I started playing roblox back in 2012 I believe. I played games for a long time and then I realized I could make my own. I looked up many youtube videos and eventually learned how to script since then Ive learned many different languages such as Java, python, C++, BASIC as well as web languages like javascript and php. I have become a really advanced scripter and I have Roblox to thank for that, Roblox really sparked my passion for programming. I am currently apart of a great Development team with @gdunn2 and @mutex_lock. I am the second one on our team to get into the forums and im sure you guys will be seeing mutex_lock as well soon.
I hope im a good addition to the forums and ill do my best to provide help in the scripting helpers section. Hopefully you guys will being seeing some games from my team soon!
