I’m not really new, cause I was accepted as new Member a few months ago,
I found Roblox from YouTube about a game on the platform, so I decided to make an account and played.
I went on YouTube and looked up scripting tutorials, and followed them and later on I got really good at scripting.
None, really.

Hello! I’m Endergenius100. As the name suggests, I was a fan of Minecraft back when it was popular. I’m glad to finally be a member of the Dev Forum.
I found Roblox when I was at my friend’s house one day and he was playing it. I thought it looked fun, so I downloaded it. I got started with development by watching scripting tutorials on YouTube. I started scripting a lot, just messing around and creating different things. I don’t really have any achievements yet, but I hope to one day make a successful game. My role in the developer community is programming/scripting. Well, that’s it. I hope that I will be able to have my questions answered and help others answer their questions. Thanks for reading!
Hey everyone! I am ThatBuilderKyle. I am fairly new to the Developer Forum!
I found Roblox in 2008 when my best friend introduced it to me. Ever since then, I have made different types of games and environments on the platform. Although these projects were small, and just for practice, they have helped to advance my skills over the years. And after 11 years, I have finally made my way to the Developer Forum lol. Throughout my time on the Roblox platform, I have learned how to build, 3D model from Blender, and design various landscapes! The only thing I have not fully learned yet is scripting (I am getting there lol). My best friend, who would only play games on Roblox, not develop, now develops with me from time to time lol.
My passion is in creating realistic landscapes, complex structures, and finding different ways of doing things. Imagination is incredibly powerful, and Roblox allows others, and myself to unleash it. My goals are to help create awesome games for other developers, make some of my own, and meet new friends in the community. Hello, I’m synoooot (or synoot, if you don’t want to use all the o’s)! I’m still relatively new to the forums, so hi.
I’ve been playing ROBLOX for around ~7 years now and developing for ~3 years, give or take. I’m still pretty bad at scripting and building, but I’m getting better!
I found ROBLOX by friends telling me, and I had a fun time being a guest so I created my first account (which is now abandoned). I got started developing by coming across an uncopylocked game and clicking the Edit button. I personally hope to make games that are scenic and fun, and to make art (if you will) out of the readily available developer tools. I’m a programmer, as well, couldn’t place a brick in a good spot for the life of me, haha.

How did I find Roblox?
Years ago, I was looking at a website for custom Lego creations (Drawing parallels, yes, I know…) and I stumbled across an advert for a building game.
For context, this was several accounts ago way back in around 2007.
How did I get started with development on the Roblox platform?
I grew up in a community heavily dependant on public transport, so I grew an affinity towards it. This translated into the idea of creating my own public transport, and Roblox just so happened to be that platform.
I also love movies, so I wanted to translate some pop-culture topics into development.
What are my current goals/achievements on the platform?
Several bus simulators (Past & future) and a recreation of the Bombardier GLT/TVR system employed in Nancy & Caen, France.
What is my role in the developer community?
I’m a low-level scripter, sound designer, 3D modeller, graphics designer and builder. I also do music production too.

Hello, my username is paratype on Roblox, and I originally started playing because of a younger sibling asking me to. It started off as a joke, and I really didn’t think that I would truly enjoy the game, but I was proven wrong fairly quickly. On this platform, I don’t have any large achievements, but I have obtained a decent amount of limited items from trading early on and have created the game “Ragdoll Simulator” Ragdoll Simulator - Roblox. In the community, I haven’t contributed much, but I hope to be somebody who can build, script, UI, and do GFX decently. Thanks!
Hi, I’m Bwead_z, and I’ve recently became a new member for Roblox Developer Forum. I have silly little games for two years. I found Roblox when I was taking Java classes in 2015. My first game had no scripts but just free models. For a year I’ve been teaching myself while watching basic scripting with @Alvin_Blox to increase my knowledge on programming. Now I am working on big project called Spirit Catchers and learned a lot through the development. My best talent is programming as I’m really good at I do in my opinion.

Hello, my name is ScriptedForum and I am sixteen years old.
How did you find Roblox?
I was first introduced to Roblox by a friend in 2010, when I was only six years old. For the next couple of years after that, I played Roblox nonstop and introduced many friends to the game, while also making new ones online. My activity halted a bit around 2017, however I have now returned with the aim of creating games instead of just playing them.
How did you first get started with development on the Roblox platform?
A few years ago, I did not have much involvement with development on Roblox. I did make games, but nothing in those games was actually created by me, and instead were created by other members of the community. I had always been interested in scripting, but for some reason never taught myself how to use that interest when it came to Roblox.
Now I have been using skills which I obtained outwith Roblox to teach myself Lua and the Roblox scripting environment.
Current goals/achievements on the platform
I would say that my only goals are to expand my knowledge and understanding of the Roblox platform. I hope to become more proficient with scripting on Roblox and I also hope to get better at building although that is not my primary focus.
What is your role in the developer community?
I am a software engineer. I have experience in languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, Python and I am now teaching myself the ins and outs of Lua.

I have been playing Roblox since 2008, and have always had an interest in development. I found Roblox back in the day through a flash game website ad. I got started with development through groups, and haven’t stopped since. I am most excited about my contributions to the Roblox Grand Republic Military, and its political wing the Roblox Grand Republic. In the Roblox community I help foster a positive and engaging group environment.
I study Political Science and have a great interest in youth voter apathy in democracies, and have written on how Roblox groups can generate an interest in voting!
