Hope you enjoy your stay at the DevForum.
This is a bit late, but hey, Iām sozzly, I like to script games and donāt finish them!
Iām pretty new here and so far, Iām enjoying this place.
I am Hen_altaccount, but call me Hen. Yes, this is an alt, but its also an alt of an alt of an alt of a non alt. (You may might want to read that again) I work mostly on Sci-Fi and Comedy builds, and also some GFX as well. Iām learning low-poly too, so if anyone sees this post and is good in low-poly, I respect you.
Welcome to the DevForums, @Hen_altaccount!
My name is OffAndSphere, and this is my story.
I discovered Roblox at around 5-7 years old on an iPad and spent most of my time playing obbies, button tycoons, and āfall to the end with little/no controlā games.
When I got onto the computer version of Roblox at around the age of 12, I was astounded by how much better you could control your character than on an iPad. I also saw the application of Roblox Studio, and I was VERY scared of it, as I was just smart enough to know that developing games was hard.
Several months later, I downloaded Roblox Studio because I felt ready for the difficulty of game development. It was just as hard as I expected, I encountered quite a few roadblocks(curse you, flipping ClickDetector doors), and my first gameās scripts ended up collapsing on each other and breaking the score system. You can find the game here. Iām currently working on a sequel to it.
I specialize in map design, and even then, my creations look very, VERY extreme, as in one support beam long and thin enough to make that ~500 by ~1 by ~500 stud part look unsupported as heck.
Well, thatās the end of my story. Thanks for reading!
hello! i really appreciate that i was accepted into the devforum! thank you, it really means a lot to me! i joined roblox in 2010 and started developing āgamesā (which at the time were compilations of free models) at around 2015. i started building & scripting my own real games around the year of 2016. in my opinion, iām more of a builder than a scripter really. currently i donāt have any popular games, however iām working on several projects in hopes to make them work! i love using the devforum for reading up on resources that donāt exist anywhere else, iāve had many issues fixed because of that chance! thank you again for accepting me!
Hello! Thank you for accepting me into the dev forum! I had found Roblox back in 2011 through my cousin and we both had a lot of fun exploring the tycoons and ride a cart games that were being published. Shortly after, in 2012, I had found out about Roblox Studio and started exploring making half finished games and have loved developing since. Currently, my main goal on this platform is to finish one game Iāve been working on for a while but was not able to finish because I had a lackluster understanding of coding. These last 3 years, Iāve taken coding classes at school and have been able to understand and pick up Lua a lot easier. As of currently, I donāt really have a clear role, I spontaneously take on one or another role. Once again, thank you for accepting me!
Hi, My name is MrTeeXD and I am a concurrent learning Builder. Here are some questions about myself :
- On April 1st 2017, I found Roblox throught my old friend Jus-In-Roll who recommended me the Online platform.
- I started Development by building a Hangout Styled Place and I really enjoyed doing it.
- My goal on the Platform is to be friendly towards everyone and helping out a small group of players like I currently am doing.
- My role on the platform is Building mainly but I also plan to add a bit of scripting to my builds so I am also learning to script as well
- I really love this platform as well as the games that were made by the community and I always try my best to help improve their games as much as possible.
what up whats good im new here, finally got the rank to post even though ive been reading for years. i guess its not wise to be logged out most of the time
