Hi, I’m mrtomtomon1872 I have been developing since 2017 and played since the start of 2016 as a guest.
It is awesome to finally be able to talk in the dev forums as I have used it as a source for a long time and I feel I can contribute to others with my knowledge.
I’m a bit late to post this, but I’ll try to do this.
I’ve started as a Guest during 2013 and Joined as an official account 2014. I’ve gained control of the account and now use a 2018 account as my main.
I started developing when I was within the SCPF genre of Roblox. I wanted to use my imagination to create futuristic objects that people would enjoy.
My Current goals are to improve my building skills and hopefully one day learn to script.
I’m a builder.
I just got accepted and I’m very thankful to be on this platform. I started using Roblox Studio back in like 2017 for fun but I started taking it seriously and made progress starting from 2019.
From that time to present I was able to gain experience for every skill. (GFX, UI Designing, Programming, Building, 3D Modeling, and Animating) Though my specialization at the moment is in 3D Modeling and Building.
This community seems great and well-managed. I look forward to meeting people and help others out. I just hope I don’t do anything that’s against the rules LOL.

I found Roblox back in 2012 from one of those vertical advertisements.
2. How did you get started with development on the Roblox platform?
Although I’ve learn scripting a few times, I fully started getting into it almost a month ago.

My current goal is just to learn more & soon enough develop an game with a team.

I found Roblox because I saw my brother playing it and I was like holy crap this really cool, this was in 2011 btw. I got started with development when I found this great group of people and they offered me to learn how to build and I was like “yeah sure”. My current goal on Roblox is to put my mark on something and to leave a lasting impact for others to enjoy. I’m a builder in the roblox community and I find it to be super fun. Also my favorite shape is a circle and color is orange.
Hello everyone I am AltonTowerFan and if you ever chat call me Alton. I found Roblox a few years ago and never stopped playing much since and it is still a very good platform.
I started developing on Roblox ages ago and I am quite bad and hoping for harsh comments to help me improve and some nice ones as well. My current goals are just to try my best and do the best I can for developing and hope to get feedback from you guys. I am a builder and learning to script I really want to learn GFX and GUI and I can not make meshes with blender as my laptop wont let me open it but in the future I hope to do so. I just appreciate so much that I am now on the developer forum for Roblox.

Hello! I’m Sven, I’ve been a member of ROBLOX for just about 5 and a half years and I’m currently 16
years old. My passion for building started when I use to get taught by my friends on how to build - At first It was tricky especially starting to build around (2016 when Roblox didn’t have many essentials) However over time I gradually improved. I began to notice interest in my work in late 2017 and from there my work has been getting better and better. I hope to learn new things and present my work to all you fantastic people. My goals are to present my projects and to get feedback and also make a name for myself. My role in the community would be a builder.

I found Roblox in early 2010. I loved playing with friends, especially in tycoon games! This inspired me to get involved with developing on the Roblox platform, and maybe see others play on my tycoons as I did on others. Currently, my goals for Roblox is to develop a large Military themed group and grow a huge friendly community.
I am a programmer (currently studying) and modeller. I know languages such as Lua, Js, C#, HTML, PHP and a little bit of python.
I’m not very new to Roblox development, but was just looking for how to be able to reply on posts here on the DevForum. It looks like I have to reply to this to do so. I am currently working on a vehicle building and battling game. I am mostly a scripter, but I also do building and UI design because I’m the only person working on the game. I am hoping to publish the game this year.
I found Roblox in 2015, but I never liked it much. I forgot all about it but decided to try it again in 2019 when I came across the mobile app.
I’m a gymnast in real life, so naturally I’d want to find a gymnastics game on Roblox. When I realised that the games I found did not include real gymnastics skills, I decided to try my best to create something better, so I began to play around with Roblox Studio.
My goal is to become a better animator, programmer, and builder and make a game that many people will love to play.
I am an Animator and a Builder.
I’ve been developing for a year and a half now and I’m still inexperienced in many areas. I’m looking for some programmers and UI designers that could help me with the development of my game.

I found Roblox back in 2017 on this account was a mobile player for about a year till I became a developer on Roblox.
I started developing after I got my first Computer, my friend was a developer on Roblox for a while before I started to. I wanted to try it out and I enjoyed it a lot.

Hi, it’s been a while for me in Roblox I joined in 2018 by simply searching in Microsoft Store for some games to play. I found Roblox on the front page so I downloaded the app and made an account. A few months down the line and I started using the online version (roblox.com). I started programing nearly 2 years ago it all started with C++, my friend in school started coding and engaging others in it. I’ve been learning with him and by the end of school, he also told me about Unity where you could create your games by coding in C# and building.
I discovered about 7 months ago about Roblox Studio. I wanted to try Roblox Studio to make a game and I started by watching some YouTube videos since I didn’t know LUA at all.
Now after 3 years of experience in programming on Roblox Studio I can freely say that I enjoyed my time here with such a helpful and welcoming community!
I am new here and just wanted to say it is great to be in the Forum.
I am pretty good at building and somhow good on 3d modeling i started to use blender on December of 2019 and my first peoject was a dounut xD i learned alot from just that project and from there i learned some basics for blender and srated to use it will my maps and it helped me alot, before i used union with my project but now mesh parts are really great and i hope one day that i can become a great builder and get make some cool hats on the UGC
