I’m new to the Devforum, and it’s an honor to be accepted into the Devforum, since I’ve been trying to become a member since March! 
I’m Gchords, a clothing designer and part-time game creator. (But mostly a clothing designer)
How did you find Roblox?
I joined Roblox in 2016, and started making games in 2017, and clothing in 2018. I started playing Roblox after watching a Youtuber play it. I decided to play the game, and mostly played Work At A Pizza Place and The Plaza.
How did you get started with develop on the Roblox platform?
In 2018, I found a new passion, clothing designing. And when I started, I was BAD. I started watching more tutorials (Anonymous Assistant usually), and I got better at using Paint .net.
Current Goals/achievements On The Platform
My goal is to be able to work for a popular clothing store, and potentially start having my own group grow!
What is your role in the developer community?
I’m a clothing designer that works for my own group, and do orders for other groups.
Anything Else?
I’ve self-taught myself in scripting. I started off with Python, an easy to use programming tool, and created several games.

Hello! Am Bkreze and am new to DevForum, (as everyone here I think) 
I guess I will use this template for presenting myself, although I really don’t like to do what others do like following people, but I guess is part of it.
How did you find Roblox?
- Well it was on 2015, it was a wonderful experience, I started playing it because of an hispanic YouTuber and I thought myself, why not trying it? Well I really loved my experience on it is a nice community to those times and was very fun being part of it, it make me feel more social and that’s what I enjoy of this community.
How did you get started with development on the Roblox platform?
- I am not fully developer to say, I am just new to this forum, although I have been trying to learn to use 3D modeling software like Zbrush and trying to learn Adobe Illustrator too.
Current goals/achievements on the platform
- Create a better game than those up with storytime, envolving characters, different types of gameplays and enjoyment.
What is your role in the developer community?
- I am not full dev because am currently learning, but I do 3D Modeling, I used to do User Interface, and trying to keep up with Vector art
Anything else you would like to include
- To be honest I don’t really like talking about myself since am very weird
but I am hoping this place helps me fulfill the goals I always wanted to end.

Hello fellow developers!
I am so excited to have finally been accepted into the development community! I started playing Roblox in 2014. I found Roblox because my friend told me about it. At the time, I was into club penguin but decided to give it a try. I then started development on Roblox that year, but I actually started out not being educated on it. This was when the “build mode” was available, and I wasn’t aware of edit mode 
When I started developing, I did not know how to do simple things like make a add a part, scale, move, etc. Once I started to get the hang of it though, I learned something new all the time, and I still am to this day! I am not sure of my accomplishments, but I am a very skilled builder as I have 6 years experience, and I cannot believe I got this far! My goals as a developer is to become a popular group owner and to beable to profit off of a game, which I have not yet accomplished. Its mostly been for fun, but I am ready to invest and take it to the next level. I can’t wait to contribute to the community, talk to other developers and learn more! Have fun other new members!

I found Roblox because prison life was playing on a computer in a library I study at.
I started development because I wanted to make a game where I could battle my friends!
My goal is are 1000 Place visits!

Hey there! I’m Gammer, a new Devfourm member! I’v been exploring ROBLOX for more than a year now and learning to become a builder for my group. Little about me; I love Pusheen, designing (In a class called Professional communications, lol), and cooking sweets in general.
Anyways, enough about that! I started get into building one I started a group. I just have a huge passion and want to become a great builder! I’m also looking into designing, but not GFXs lol. I actually just clicked create button and saw Devforum so nothing special. My current goal would just be to gain skill to become a decent builder!
So…yeah! Hope i can make some cool expeirences along the way.

Hello everyone! I am David and I am a new member here! I am a business owner and developer. I am a beginner programmer and an expert modeler. I found ROBLOX through a friend many years ago. One of my biggest goals on ROBLOX was with trading. My dream item has always been the Valkyrie Helm. I just recently achieved that goal, around 2 months ago! I own a clothing group with 1300 members, and 2 projects, a chicken restaurant and a burgerhouse that are currently in development. I have been on ROBLOX since 2008 and love the platform. Hello There! It’s so great to finally be apart of this forum. I am linx45 or just Linx, I’m a GFX Artist/Beginner Programmer and A pretty good builder! oh and I’m also a 3D Modeler but they kinda suck at this moment. I have attempted Making Some games already on here but im still not sure if anyone would play them at all haha, and that’s why I’m on this forum. To learn and develop my skills to hopefully make people happy with my games.

I am new here but not new to Roblox. I have been using Roblox for about 7 years, probably only coding for about half of that. I found Roblox in school when I saw a kid playing it on the school computer lol. I started developing the same way any other developer does: to clone games you can’t afford. My goals are to make things that people aren’t trying to make, I don’t want to be different I want to make what is however. I am a programmer and amateur GFX user, I have dabbled in most of it but only succeeded in programming. I look forward to helping around the forum and receiving plenty of help too!
Hi! I am new here but I have been playing Roblox for 5 years and a half, almost 6 years already. I found Roblox when I was 10 years old when my cousin introduce in to me and I have been enjoying playing it up until now. 9 months from now, I started as solo developer in Roblox, up until now. I have achieve experiences and improve my skills in Building and Programming in Roblox Studio. I still am a member but if I will be given a chance to have a role it is either Builder or Map designer. I also want to include that I am learning all fields of roles in Roblox because I am still a solo developer.

How did you get started with development on the Roblox platform? - I started building games when I joined Roblox and I used Free Models, I joined at 2016 and started playing Obbies and Tycoons. And started playing at Computer at 2016 as well, but I started building games without any piece of knowledge at Rolox Studio. I used and ‘FREE MODELS’ but sadly, my account got hacked. And I never published the games. But I still have this as my last 2016 account.

I’m a new member and forums helped me a lot with figuring out problems with my games. I now can spread my knowledge and make forum topics to exactly what I want. I’m a builder but I am hoping to learn scripting, modeling, making uis, and animating.

My daughter loves playing games on the Roblox platform and one day my boss asked me to look into developing games myself. My day job is in web development. I have made mini games with JS and I’m a gamer myself so the chance to develop with a game engine is really exciting 
I’m currently learning how to build games and am working on a quest system that also persists the player progress and achievements. I’m also planning to make an upgrade / purchase with points system. Currently I’m wearing all the hats 
dev, UI, design & builder.
I’m hoping to find one solution to a current issue I’m having involving the visibility of player animations with regard to the client server boundary.
I think the game engine is awesome and have really enjoyed discovering Lua!

I first started ROBLOX on my other accounts on 2013 if I’m not wrong, my other ones were hacked due to me being dumb before.
So basically, I really started having an interest on scripting in 2015, so I started from the least which is the Touched and TouchEnded, I really started growing in knowledge by watching YouTube videos as well, and with practice I’ve became a successful scripter.
I have a goal of making a game that will really rise in activity, or run a big group on ROBLOX at least, I’ve made tons of achievements, however my main goal is what I said above.
I’m a programmer, I love to script.

Hey there ~
I first found ROBLOX about 6/7 years ago, however had to switch accounts a few times because I was a bit daft and didn’t worry all that much about security.
I started working in Studio when my friend came up with an idea for a game, neither of us knew how to do anything with RS though, so I decided to have a look around. I started with unpicking free models, and rebuilding them (although badly), because I’d heard about viruses hidden in them and back door scripts.
Currently, I’ve gotten to grips with (quite) advanced building, mid-tier scripting and I’m working on polishing it so that A. My games perform better and B. It’s just better practice.
I focus more, however, on Programming and Building with a small amount of UI design.
I’m currently working on Sci-Fi games, and so It’s an honor to be a part of the DevForum and have the community’s support when I need it. I look forward to being more active here!
