I’m so glad to be here! Here is a little bit about myself:
I found Roblox, because some friends recommended it to me in 2018, and I really enjoy it! I am a young developer, and I am so happy to be able to meet others who love to make games and art on Roblox!
How I started online, beginning with my YouTube channel:
I started by making YouTube videos in June 2020, because I was really bored, and it took a few months for my channel to start growing, and I posted quite a few videos during the summer. I took a 2 month break from Youtube because I was feeling discouraged, and school started, which took up a lot of my free time.
Fast forward to late October, I was feeling pretty aimless at that point, and I was searching for a long time, for people with common interests as me. I was browsing through my YouTube recommendations and I happened to come across the CaSeismograph community, and I have made so many good friends there who encouraged me to pursue my passion in seismology! I felt excited that I finally came across a community who enjoys seismology as much as I do! It even got to the point that I got my own seismograph around a month later! You might be asking something like “What does this have to do with being a Roblox YouTuber and developer?” Just bare with me, you’ll see soon enough. Go back around a week before I got my seismograph, I was sitting in front of my computer, bored, so I decided to watch the Lil Nas X event. I was waiting in the lobby, and asked if anyone wanted a screenshot to post on my YT before the event started, just to add some excitement while I was eating my pizza. To my surprise, many people in the server immediately said yes, and asked for my YouTube channel, which I gladly told them. They all subscribed right then and there, and joined my Discord server. That was the most subscribers I’ve gotten in one day (I was at 18 before this). That gave me a huge amount of motivation, and I posted a video the next day, which was my first upload since early August.
Fast forward about 2 weeks, and I was probably the happiest I’ve been for the past few months (seismograph, bday, motivation, new friends, and even a surprise vacation!) I was sure nothing would go wrong, but sadly, a sudden tragic event happened, and I learned about it as soon as I went on vacation. This threw me into an even worse mental state I was in before, and I lost motivation to keep working on my YouTube channel again.
Go ahead to January 2021, I was feeling really hopeless and sad, but my channel finally hit 50 subscribers! I decided that if I don’t find motivation now, I was gonna be stuck doing nothing for a while. So I forced myself to find motivation, and continue working on my channel. When I returned from a very long vacation, I was finally able to turn on my seismograph, and the owner of CaSeismograph agreed to run my live seismogram feed on his channel! This was my first collab, and I felt very excited about it!
I started doing GFX as a hobby (when I wasn’t doing huge amounts of homework), and from there, I started doing 3D modeling. I have been using multiple earthquake recordings in my art, which I feel is my own unique touch to my art. That has heavily influenced my taste when creating designs, and that has led me to the style of art I make today. Recently, I have made Roblox clothing to represent my YT channel, and my taste.
So far, my YouTube channel is running smoothly (I’m at 81 subs as of Apr 4, 2021) and I am investing more time in modeling. I am making UGC concepts, because I really hope to be accepted into the UGC program, so I can share my art with everyone to wear. I just got back from Spring Break, which was really fun, and I am mainly focusing on modeling with my free time.
In the foreseeable future, I plan on getting into the UGC program as soon as I can, and start doing UGC and GFX commissions when school is keeping me less busy. I also plan on rolling out real life merchandise, and livestreaming on my channel soon.
I would like to thank my family, my friends, my fans, and the CaSeismograph community for being with me in this journey, and I can’t wait to see what the future holds!
TL,DR: This past year has been an adventure, with many ups and downs, and there were many wonderful people who influenced what I do online. I am a modeler, YouTuber, seismograph host, and GFX artist. Don’t give up, even when things seem to be hopeless. If you believe in yourself, you can accomplish anything!
