Hello, I’m Fighter169mobile. I first found out about Roblox through a friend and was fascinated by the idea of having the ability to have your own custom avatar in any Roblox world.
I never thought I would be involved with coding, but Roblox gave me the spark to start my coding journey just from accidentally opening a script.
A few world creations later, my motto on Roblox became “Hi, I script…” I’ve mostly involved myself with GUI design and general coding.
My goal in the future is to learn more about humanoid physics in Roblox, and to create practical programs outside of Roblox as well.
Hello I am ThatOneUnoriginal (or “Unoriginal”) I don’t exactly remember how I first heard about Roblox but it was most likely via my brother or someone else. I enjoyed the game, created an account and the rest is history I suppose.
I started developing after seeing the amazing experiences on the platform at the time. So I opened studio, looked up some tutorials and started. My current goals are to become better at coding in Roblox as I’m not that good.
I would say I’m a Builder as I’m the most experienced in building things.
Hello! I have played roblox for many years and in 2020 have become a clothing designer and i just became a member of the dev forum! I have worked for DG Clothing and (as of when i post this) currently working for “Meme Culture” I mostly make suits when designing clothing.
I don’t exactly remember, the most likely answer was that I saw a YouTube video about and decided to check the site out.
Was bored at home, found Roblox Studio in my apps and I played around with it for a while.
Not much, just a couple months ago I started to get really into developing (I would just tinker around with it before that). However I would like to make some robux and get really good at what I do.

I don’t really remember how I found Roblox, it’s been years.
I started many years ago with several horrid attempts and without understanding how putting effort into something really works. Years later, I am back and putting massive efforts into my current project along with a few friends.
My only current goal on the platform is to finish my current project. A bit longer term, I hope to make at least one successful game within this year, 2021.
I am primarily a coder, although I have some experience in many other fields and support my friends frequently.
I tend to experiment with complex and experimental new systems, such as modelling physical forces.
I’m super grateful to be a part of this incredibly talented community! Ever since 2014, I have loved this game. The capabilities of this platform have grown so much since the times of Boys and Girls Hangout. My development journey began on Welcome to Bloxburg, where I learned basic building, and I am transferring those skills to Roblox Studio and Blender. I am a novice builder, artist, and modeler. I find these skills very fun to develop. I am excited to learn more. I hope to create art through experience, but I have a long ways to reach that goal, so I appreciate all help and guidance.Currently, I have a small following of 11k on TikTok that I would like to grow!
I am grateful to be accepted into the forum just as all of you probably are, I started doing game development on roblox in December 2020, and now I can’t stop. I hope to find a group of people I get along with, can work with, and produce a spectacular game for everyone to enjoy. Hey there! I’m a Roblox player, and someone who’s trying to learn math and programming (it’s a work in progress). I haven’t been on Roblox too long (3.5 year old main account), and I picked up development, made a crappy game, forgot about it, tried learning and gave up, and then during quarantine decided screw it, I was gonna learn some advanced coding concepts and a portion of the Roblox API. I pushed through, and now I’m working on a game that I swear, I will finish no matter what.

Hi! Thank you for accepting me in the community. I have been using Roblox for 2 years now, and all my questions were answered in this forum without asking, because someone before me had a similar situation. So I never felt the urge to log in. But in the past few weeks I have encountered some post in which I could contribute, or errors in my scripts that I could not solve for myself, or concepts that I did not fully understand, and I discovered I could not post! The wait felt too long, but finally I am here.
So here I introduce myself. I am an educator from Spain, I run and teach in my own academy. I have 7-15 yo students and they all love videogames. My goal is using that passion to create technology. I worked for years developing software when I was younger, but now I pass that knowledge and experience to the next generation.
My background makes me a scripter, but I would like to learn about other aspects of the design. It is never too late to learn!
Hello to you all, I’ve been lurking the dev forums on and off for a while, but recently I’ve decided to become more active for the sake of having a good developer resource when I need it.
How did you find Roblox?
I’ve been playing Roblox for a while since around 2012, although I had to move over to new accounts for one reason or another.
How did you get started with development on the Roblox platform?
I started messing around with Roblox Studio sometime around 2013-2014, and then started to really get the hang of the program around 2016. Back then, I made buildings that I would upload as free models for people to use primarily because I found it as a fun way to pass the time. Sometimes I would make the occasional game that I would somewhat work on, only to end up losing interest in continuing progress on said game due to a lack of motivation. I’ve mainly stuck with building smaller models since then.
Current goals/achievements for myself on the platform
I have a lot of personal achievements that I want to work towards, it be making a game or learning a bunch of new things, I just need to find the motivation to really do it.
What is your role in the developer community?
At the current moment, I consider myself a amateur builder.

Outside of me saying that I want to learn how to use Blender, learn how to script, and slowly become my own jack of all trades, I don’t really have much else to add.

1. How did you find Roblox?
I’m not to sure how I originally stumbled across Roblox but I joined around 2013 on an old account and have been playing ever since. 2. How did you get started with development on the Roblox platform?
I think my first ever time I wanted to try developing was when I had a dream of owning my own successful Roblox group. So I joined a small group looking for a developer and I worked up from there. (Bearing in mind, I did just use free models back then so I think it was cheeky of me to call my self a developer). 3. Current goals/achievements on the platform
I have recently started my own school group and I am hoping that this can be my first main project that becomes successful. This will also be my first independent developing project using completely my own building at all time and I am learning everyday! 4. What is your role in the developer community? (eg. GFX, UI Designer, Programmer, Builder etc)
