IP Address Flagged? Inability to Publish Experiences to Roblox + Animation Importing & Ownership Issues

Hey there!

I didn’t think it would come to this, but here we are, so apparently, it has.

As you may have read, the title states my inability to publish experiences on Roblox, whether under my profile or in communities (groups). It also includes the possibility of my IP being flagged by Roblox moderation and sub-issues concerning animation importing and ownership.

So, where’s my proof/explanation of all of this? :man_with_probing_cane:
-I’m glad you asked, and below, you will find answers to your curiosity!

#1—Refer to the post below for an in-depth description of my animator’s point of view regarding all issues concerning “animation import/ownership issues.” He goes in-depth a fair amount.

#2—Let’s dive into the rest, specifically the possibility of my IP Address being flagged by Roblox moderation, which I believe is the central cause of all of this.

  • I suspect this because of all of the following:

:arrow_forward: Example 1: I have been playing Roblox for years, similar to my sister. In this thought, I remembered we share the same IP address, so I decided to log in to her completely separate computer and account and attempt to publish an experience on Roblox to test the possibility of our shared IP address being flagged. To my surprise, she was also met with the “unavailable” screen when viewing it on Roblox. Never before has this happened to her, yet since we shared the same IP address and it’s occurring to me, it will also happen to her. Refer to the screenshot below for her perspective.

:arrow_forward: Example 2: After my development team and I, as well as the Roblox technical support team, couldn’t find a solution to the issues being discussed here after over a month of email back-and-forth, I created a new community (group) on my main account @ironcharm27 and copied all roles, experiences, and studios from the old group to the new one. However, again, we were met with the same issues. Refer to the screenshot below for proof.

:arrow_forward: Example 3: Confused, I created an entirely new account and formed two new communities (groups) on it. However, after viewing all the new experiences/studios I made and transferred over, I am still met with the issue shown in the two screenshots below, depicting the experience as “unavailable” alongside the text “This experience is currently not available.”

How did this happen? :man_shrugging:

So what I think happened is that when my animator @GarnetAnimations exported his animation out of Blender, leaving “Bake Animation” checked and proceeding to upload this animation to the group “Philotimo Games,” accidentally uploading hundreds of development items at once in the process, the account that owned the group, which is me, @ironcharm27, was flagged. This is why all experiences and groups I make, or the singular experience my sister tried to publish to Roblox, are marked as “unavailable,” as we share the same IP address.

How will posting on the developer forum help? :person_tipping_hand:
-It probably won’t. Still, my development team and I are out of options, so I’m drafting a post as one of our last possibilities.

In summary, if this issue persists, I cannot publish my team’s hard work on Roblox, ultimately leading my team and me to make some tough decisions, which I would like to avoid.

Best,
ironcharm :man_dancing:
