Huh… seems to be the same server for all of it. At least they can investigate that server specifically.
I also can’t load anything in studio (assuming the page loads and the edit button works) because after studio unfreezes, it just gives me this “place is loading please wait” message with some “connection timeout” stuff in the output.
(also this hasn’t ended for the past hour)
I had that happen earlier, maybe try this:
In the address bar on the start page of Studio, go to www.roblox.com/develop and try to load your game from there?
That worked for me when my game was unable to load.
Does anybody else have this problem ever? Am I the only person having connectivity issues?
It only happens where I am on weekends. It does not happen at where I am during the rest of the week. It lasts for various lengths of time, sometimes more than an hour. I am forced to give up using Roblox until the problem goes away. I’m in East coast US and I have over 20Mbps download speed (still as this problem is occurring) from Charter. I don’t know what to do so I guess I’m just going to poke this thread every once in a when that I get annoyed by this problem.
Up until fairly recently I was sporadically encountering this problem over https where requests to a certain cdn would fail causing content to not load. The issue occurred over both my 1Mb dsl connection and my 4G cellular connection. I don’t always use the roblox website often, but it’s been fine throughout my last few sessions.
I’ll update if occurs again and keep monitoring the network traffic.
That happens to me sometimes. And whenever I do Speedtest.net it’s not exceptionally laggy, so I onow it’s not someone d9wbloading something at the time. The site will just format weird, or not at all.
posting cause it’s happening again.
edit: and again.
can’t publish games.
I’ve been trying to publish this one update for over 20 minutes.
Here’s a list of things I can’t do on Roblox right now:
Play a game
Load a webpage
Upload a model
Insert a model
Edit a game
Upload a game
Load an asset
Click a button
Log in/out
I’m at home uploading models every few minutes (and then another place downloads them) and they’re both working for me.
Obvious questions first, but firewall / antivirus / router settings etc? All clean?
router has firewall enabled, free avg antivirus
Down with the ticketless.
A really bad pun that didn’t make it’s way through the voice-less internet.
Gonna go in my corner now.
I’m noticing a common theme here in that all of these pages are loaded via https. Can you guys try loading the http version to confirm?
backspacing the ‘s’ is something I’ve tried that didn’t work, same as adding one when https wasn’t the default.
Interesting. I think my issue is my own fault, my proxy settings have done something very strange on my home desktop…
