The item W1NN3R - Roblox and it’s retexture Redspybot - Roblox have a weird white line that appears only in R6
the problem is most likely caused by this weird gap/line in the textures of the items, that can be easily fixed

Bumping ts(this) because it lowkey pmo
Thank you for the report. We are not making aesthetic updates to any Accessories older than 6 months at this time so we can prioritize high impact bugs. Your understanding in this matter is greatly appreciated.
While I do understand why you don’t wanna update these types of bugs right now, I don’t get why completely closing this bug report would be necessary. The bug appears exclusively in R6, it works normally seperately and in R15 so why not fix it later? This weird ugly white line doesn’t appear anywhere but in R6. They work perfectly fine in R15, the line isn’t present in the preview images of the items
And isn’t on the official render of the Microwave Spybot character, that uses Redspybot hat, from Roblox Character Encyclopedia
Psure this has to do with how R6 accessories use special meshes instead of using meshparts (which use pbr). That being said, it kinda sucks that Roblox won’t fix R6 to use meshparts, but they’ve consistently stated they wont be making any changes to R6, and they plan on replacing it entirely in the future iirc (which also majorly sucks).
Yes, but in this case the line is stupidly easy to fix. All they need to do is to warp/color in this part of the texture and the line will disappear like it was never there
They won’t do that though because its a problem exclusive to how R6 models render meshes (using specialmesh).
I mean, they have changed textures to fix issues that appear only in R6. Like Dominus Formidulosus for instance, but I guess you’re right. It’s really confusing how some admins fix certain bugs while others choose not to ngl
Recently, they’ve taken the approach of not changing any visual issues with “classic” items because the changes would “affect all users.” Pretty sure this has had to do with recent backlash to things like changing the mesh of WCHPS, CWHPS, and stuff like the Astronaut Helmet. Personally I don’t see the issue of fixing texture bleed, as it wasn’t present when the items were originally introduced, but the catalog asset team seems to be all over the place, but specifically trying to avoid backlash.
I wish the internal policies were a little more transparent so we could comment/follow it, but that’s not what we have right now.
