Issues with crate rigging

Hi
I’d like to rig a crate to make an opening animation for it, I tried a lot of combinations of connecting parts with Motor6D but none of them give me the desired result, here’s the current attempt:


I want to be able to move/rotate the top part freely but it does this complete opposite weird thing.

I found out exactly how to solve your problem

You will have to create a humanoidrootpart for the crate and then set the primary part of the model to the humanoidrootpart and finally rig everything with the humanoid rootpart
