So i’m not entirely sure if this is a new thing but i’m having issues with the selection UI. It’s overall just very tacky blunt and trippy.
Did I tick some box accidentally or is it some new feature, and if so can I revert to a previous version?

The selection outline is an opt-in beta. You can read more about it in this DevForum post.
You can opt-out of this beta effectively removing the selection outline by going to FILE > Beta features and disabling something along the lines of “Selection Outline”.
Cheers, probably checked it by accident, thanks. Really hope they consider removing the idea entirely, shouldn’t be implemented.
