Korblox Deathwalker Still Doesn't Support R6

As of the time of this post it’s already been 9 months since The Hunt: First Edition event. Along with it came the anticipated Korblox Deathwalker bundle. Users began to realize that the bundle isn’t compatible in R6. Soon after its release the official Roblox twitter account replied to another user seemingly confirming that the bundle would soon receive R6 compatibility as seen here. That was 9 months ago and the bundle still remains incompatible with R6 to this day. This bundle costed R$29,000 so it should be given the proper treatment it deserves by getting the R6 support that was hinted to be coming.

Visual Aid:

Expected Behavior:

I expect to see Korblox Deathwalker receive R6 support as well as an update on when we can expect to see it release, if at all.
(I have this post listed as a bug report solely because Roblox is aware of this discrepancy with the bundle and confirmed that they were working on R6 support for it, to which we have still yet to see all these months later.)

As the owner of this bundle, I really want this change to be made. Most of the games I play only support R6 characters, and it’s disappointing that the parts I actually want to be visible with this bundle never show up when I equip it in those games.

Specifically, there were a few improvements made to this bundle during its peak hype period, but R6 support was never among them. If I recall correctly, only the size was adjusted back then.

This is just an acknowledgment announcement!

We’ve filed a ticket to our internal database, and we’ll follow up when we have an update!

Thank you for the report!

I know this may be a bit late, but I believe this information may help as I’ve found the main cause behind why this bundle is not appearing correctly for R6 characters, and it seems to mainly come from an oversight with the current “Avatar Item: Body” Roblox Studio publishing interface.

I discovered this when I imported the Korblox Deathwalker bundle into studio, and discovered that unlike the bundle it’s based on (the Korblox Deathspeaker), the newer bundle seems to be missing it’s Character Meshes for all of it’s body parts besides the head (which is correlated by OP’s screenshot of the bundle on his R6 character), which is why it currently doesn’t display properly on R6 characters.

Here are some screenshots that show where specifically the new bundle is missing it’s CharacterMeshes compared to the older bundle:

The newer bundle missing it's CharacterMeshes

The main cause for these missing CharacterMeshes in the newer Korblox bundle (that I could find) was from a compatibility issue with the the current “Avatar Item: Body” Roblox Studio publishing interface, as it doesn’t seem to allow for the uploading of CharacterMeshes with imported R15 mesh rigs as Catalog Avatar bundles.

If this compatibility issue was fixed for the current Roblox Avatar Bundle publishing interface, this was would allow it to remain compatible with the older R6 body type similar to how the older Korblox bundle was comprised of both R15 mesh body parts and R6 CharacterMeshes, maintaining compatibility for both body types.

TLDR:

this “bug” is mainly a compatibility issue with Roblox’s current Avatar Bundle Publishing interface, as it currently does not allow for the option of CharacterMeshes to be included in a bundle being published, which removes the capability for the older R6 body type to use these newer avatar bundles.

Note: I’m aware that I’m not the most succinct when coming to bug reports, but I felt that sharing this information could help solve this “bug”, so please forgive me if this reply seems to ramble on.

The Deathwalker still isn’t working in R6, just wondering if there will be an update whether or not this item will be fixed.

I think in the tweet ROBLOX was referring only to fixing the scaling

I don’t think Roblox even likes to support r6 anymore

Fixes being done have become as low effort as changing descriptions
