Ever find it difficult to understand what each identity, orientation, or generally what role means what? Find out about each orientation and identity that we offer, alongside permissions for all roles, including staff-only roles.


Section 1, Orientation Role Information

An orientation, in terms of LGBTQ, represents your sexuality.
All orientation roles are given default permissions.
Number of Possible Members per Rank: ∞

Orientations that we provide role-sets for include:

  • Abrosexual
    • Anyone who doesn’t fixate themselves with a specific orientation, as their identity may change over time
  • Aromantic
    • No desire for having a relationship that bounds to romance with another.
  • Asexual
    • No desire for sexual intercourse/activity, although you may engage in romantic or loving relationships
  • Bisexual
    • Having a romantic, emotional, or sexual attraction for both males and females, and therefore only 2 genders at once, rather than more
  • Demisexual
    • Only having a sexual attraction towards someone that you know deeply or have an emotional bond with someone
  • Gay
    • Sexual or romantic desires for the opposing gender, almost always used to define 2 men together
  • Lesbian
    • Sexual or romantic desires for the opposing gender, almost always used to define 2 women together
  • Omnisexual
    • Having romantic, emotional, or sexual attraction for people of any identity; omnisexuality recognizes identities, but it has no effect on their emotional output
  • Pansexual
    • Having romantic, emotional, or sexual attraction for people regardless of identity; no recognition of identity, as opposed to omnisexuality
  • Polysexual
    • Having romantic, emotional, or sexual attraction to many people, but not necessarily all/any identities
  • Queer
    • Anyone who is identifies as an identity and orientation other than heterosexual and cisgender
  • Questioning
    • Anyone who may not know their orientation, or are experimenting to better situation them with an orientation
  • Straight Ally
    • Anyone who is a heterosexual and cisgender person, and supports equality, civil rights, and is strongly against LGBTQ-posed phobias

Section 2, Identity Role Information

An identity, in terms of LGBTQ, represents your gender/sex.
All identity roles are given default permissions.
Number of Possible Members per Rank: ∞

  • Agender
    • Anyone who doesn’t fall under having a gender identity, and are therefore genderless
  • Bigender
    • Anyone who has 2 identities or a combination of 2 identities
  • Demigender
    • Anyone who feels that their identity/gender is partial and therefore not completely distinctive
  • Genderfluid
    • Anyone who doesn’t fixate themselves with a specific identity, as their identity may change over time
  • Genderqueer
    • Anyone who doesn’t follow male or female, but are in between somewhere; an umbrella term to identify someone as having an identity other than male or female
  • Non-Binary
    • Having an identity that falls outside of the lines of male or female; an umbrella term for anyone whose identity doesn’t apply to male or female
  • Omnigender
    • Anyone who identifies with many, but not all genders
  • Pangender
    • Anyone who identifies with all genders, or is a member of all genders in a sense
  • Polygender
    • Anyone who identifies with many genders, but collectively believes that they all play a connected part towards their own identity
  • Transgender
    • Anyone whose identity differs from what they were assigned at birth

Staff permissions vary as positions need more experience.

  • Intern
    • LGBTQ Interns, previously coined as “Helper”, are expected to actively participate in moderating the group wall, assist in resolving issues, ranking users who request orientation/identity roles, and participate in group wall activity.
    • This role gets Class A permissions.
    • Number of Possible Members per Rank: 50
  • Moderator
    • LGBTQ Moderators, previously coined as “Head Advisor”, are expected to follow duties of Advisors, alongside assisting with Advisory expectations, and actively assist in changing/updating the group shout.
    • This role gets Class A permissions.
    • Number of Possible Members per Rank: 35
  • Administrator
    • LGBTQ Administrators, previously coined as “Head Moderator”, are expected to follow duties of all previously listed roles. This role is also expected to be progressively more active than previous roles.
    • This role gets Class B permissions.
    • Number of Possible Members per Rank: 20
  • Group Manager
    • LGBTQ Group Managers, previously coined as “Administrator”, are expected to follow duties of all previously listed roles. This role is also expected to resolve high-risk issues through suspension or exiling needs.
    • This role gets Class B permissions.
    • Number of Possible Members per Rank: 10
  • Chief Executive Officer
    • LGBTQ Chief Executive Officers, previously coined as “Owner”, are expected to follow duties of all previously listed roles. This role is also expected to review applications sent in via our group resource center.
    • This role gets Class C permissions.
    • Number of Possible Members per Rank: 6
  • Group Overseer
    • LGBTQ Group Overseers are expected to follow duties of all previously listed roles. This role is also expected to assist founders in managing the group and ensuring smooth operations. This is the highest role obtainable by non-related or orientated individuals to that of the original founder.
    • This role gets Class C permissions.
    • Number of Possible Members per Rank: 4
  • Founder
    • LGBTQ Founders are expected to follow duties of all previously listed roles. This role is also expected to manage the group, communications server, and submit documents, posts, and other information to the platform, such as this one! This role gets all possible group permissions, including create and edit group experiences.
    • This role gets Class C permissions.
    • Number of Possible Members per Rank: 2

Section 4, Other Role Information

All other ranks are listed below as they didn’t fit into other sections easily.

  • Supporter
    • Anyone who has yet to join the rank center to obtain a role. This is LGBTQ’s default role, and has default permissions. This role cannot join the resource center; you’ll need to be under an identity or orientation role to gain access.
  • Blacklisted Bozo
    • Previously coined as “Suspended”, anyone who has broken our community guidelines, or Roblox guidelines in any way that causes a disruption to group activity and comfort. This role has no permissions other than viewing the group shout. This role has access to the resource center, but can only submit suspension release applications.
      • This role was previously depreciated throughout LGBTQ, and has been re-instated.
  • Other Identities
    • Anyone whose identity isn’t listed on our group’s role-set. This role gets default group permissions.
  • Other Orientations
    • Anyone whose orientation isn’t listed on our group’s role-set. This role gets default group permissions.
  • Major Supporter
    • Anyone who is known to support LGBTQ Communities, such as active and influential community members. This role gets default group permissions, but will be given special, select perks via our LGBTQ Hangout.
  • Noted Supporter
    • This includes owners of other Roblox LGBTQ groups, high-positioned staff members of affiliated groups, or individualistic influencers who pose a significant effect on the LGBTQ community; as well as affiliated representatives for groups. This role gets default group permissions, but will be given special, select perks via our LGBTQ Hangout. This role receives the ability to make group shouts for affiliate-related announcements.
  • LGBTQ+ Influencer
    • Individuals who pose great significance to the LGBTQ+ community and have a larger following than that of most. These individuals are usually owners of large LGBTQ+ groups, have a social media following that pertains to LGBTQ+ activities, or is publicly known for being LGBTQ+ and possesses a large following. This role receives the ability to make group shouts for affiliate-related announcements.
  • Developer
    • Previously coined as “Contributor”, anyone who is actively participating as a group developer, including builders, scripters, clothing designers, and artists. This role is also given to bots and group assistants that utilize API systems. This role gets permissions of deleting group wall posts, managing join requests, managing member ranks, viewing the audit logs, advertising the group, changing the group shout, create and configure group items, and kicking members from the group.
      • This role has been depreciated throughout LGBTQ.
  • Group Holder
    • LGBTQ Group Holder position is given to the owner of the Roblox group and communications server. The only account in the position is “luhvisluhv”. This role gets all group permissions.
