Light "Future" taking a lot to activate

I set the Lighting technology to “Future”:


But after starting the game, it takes a lot of time to pass from (apparently) ShadowMap to Future:

As you can see in the video, “Future” only starts processing after 19 seconds and stabilizes at 23 seconds.

How is it possible to have “Future” technology active from the start?

I’d imagine this is an isolated incident and is probably more worth going to #bug-reports:engine-bugs than here. I’ve not experienced this before.

It’s the intended behavior. You won’t have much control over it anyways, because it is part of the client’s graphics settings. Typically it’s recommended for graphics settings to be on auto, but if you insist on having it loaded immediately you could go to Studio settings and change your render settings
