Uh oh, that isn’t expected behavior. I thought I’d accounted for this case, but I’ll take a look and hopefully get in a fix by next week. Could you elaborate on the exact steps you took to cause this issue? I’m having some problems reproducing it on my end.
Now this is an update I could really use!! I’ve been struggling a lot with lighting, specifically those pesky spotlights; I feel that it’ll be much easier now
This is super cool! Will we get image/decal projectors too some day? Not entirely sure if that’s similar to light projection but I see it as a possibility?
Anyways, this will be super useful for fine-tuning light in maps and such, lighting is surprisingly important in a good-looking game so I’m definitely a fan of this update.
Pretty useful feature, thank you Roblox! Finally I won’t have to sit there, feeling silly and rotating through the directional properties trying to work out what side of a part my light object is actually coming out of.
Awesome. This is something I’ve been wanting for quite some time. Light guides are a staple of modern game engines, so I’m glad to see it finally added. The studio team has been on fire these past few months, keep it up.
