When it comes to lighting, I am not very good at it. In Roblox Studio, Lighting is important? It’s what makes good builds look even better because it shows the player or artist that maybe this object or part is lighting this area or just helps improve the player’s visuals.
–Help–
So this post is about lighting, I am trying to get better lighting to help my builds look more to the theme.

That is the showcase I need the better lighting for, it is called “Nightime Office” If you have suggestions please reply and I will try them out.

I suggest finishing off your showcase because right now it looks more like a hallway than anything else based on that screenshot.
Only after it is done you should start worrying about the lighting of the showcase.

Okay, me and my friend work on this together. And I do mostly the building and he makes the 3D models so we don’t have to make as many parts. I was worried about like because I can’t get the right type of lighting even with Future.
Could you show the build in its entirety? It would allow us to assess the problem properly and give better advice.
Okay. let me show you the design I made on paint 3D
So it’s basically an office, my friend will make the models, the tiny squares are like office colums.
I will add more detail later but this is just a quick design I made because I couldn’t find the other one sadly.

Here are few tips for lighting:
Use the new lighting mode Future
Add the DepthOfField effect, it really enhances the lighting
You can add the Bloom effect, however, I don’t really recommend this one, as it requires a lot of neon in your scene to be effective.
Don’t use just SpotLights, use SurfaceLights and PointLights as well
Add Fog to your scene if you want to create a nice shadow effect
If you want your scene to have a cool atmosphere, then change the Ambient and/or OutdoorAmbient color to something like Pastel Blue, Burlap, etc.
Change the Exposure if you want your scene to look overly dark/bright.
Use the ColorCorrectionEffect to create nice effects such as Black and White scenes (highly recommend this one for your scene)
Note: Pictures of effects can be provided upon request.
Hope this helps!
