Lighting/Visuals feedback

Lighting/Visuals for an game I am probably never going to end up releasing but hey ho.

I am using a variety of different systems for the lighting (All do their own parts and changes) and also visuals. I pretty much didn’t write a single thing my self apart for modifying a screen rain module. Forgot who @boatbomber wrote it but just added highlights to the glass to make it look better.

Preview (Do mind the lagginess. I am running on max graphics on an very old and low end laptop):

that looks really good! I like the effect of the sun glaring onto the screen, and just everything looks pretty good in general. I wouldn’t change anything about it.

I made the droplets a little smaller from 0.044 to 0.022 so should be a bit better on the view but other than that I somewhat agree. I feel the sun could be slightly bright by just a tad but yes it does look good otherwise.

This lighting and the visuals look good! It’s cool and different for a Roblox game! Good job on it! How long did it take to make this? When will you release it?

I didn’t do all of the lighting its a mix of different things mostly to achieve this.

For the game release I have no clue as I have never really bothered publishing games unless I work on a team and am paid for my work tbh. Might change but no release for the foreseeable future.

Might change if I can see if I can get enough traction on another post I made which is where I am seeing what mechanics that people would want.

You can find the post here: Looking for opinions to be collected for thought process of mechanics

These raindrops? look a bit odd to me, like they’re bubbles, not an actual raindrop felt on a camera lens. Maybe a bit oversaturated, bc y’know, our world isn’t that contrastful overall.

Still looks awesome if it’s not meant to look super realistic! :hidere:

P. S. sorry for this big criticism, but I hope it’ll help you make this look even better!

The drops dissipate in the air like real rain kind of. You’re kind of asking me to make it look realistic which just isn’t possible.

I think there is a way, but I don’t know either how to do it, so nvm what I said in the previous post about raindrops

I am doubtful there is given how gui blur isn’t even supported and has to be hacked about to be made or has to be compensated with blur from lighting or a blur image.
