Me and my friend is developing a game (with Realistic lighting), and we’ve noticed that on Roblox Player the PBR looks way off from Studio.
After a lot of testing, we found out that the way it looks on Roblox Player is as if the lighting style was changed to Soft, which is not intended.

Replicating
- Create a place with Realistic lighting, an object using SurfaceAppearance, and an artificial light pointed to the object
- Publish the place, play on Roblox Player and compare the way it looks compared to Studio
Expected behavior
I expect the lighting technology to stay on Realistic, as that’s what “Realistic lighting style and Prioritize lighting quality” should be
