Update: It appears the most recent G Hub drivers resolve this issue. We are also working on our own fix to prevent this from happening again.
Hi Creators,
We’ve been made aware of an issue with some Logitech force feedback devices that can cause a crash while opening a place. We know this happens with the Logitech G series racing wheels (eg. G920, G923) but since the crash appears to be driver related, other force feedback peripherals may cause the same issue.
We are working to resolve this issue but in the meantime, unplugging the device should prevent the crash from happening.
I own one of these wheels and while I never experienced the crash myself, if I do run into it, I’d be happy to send some logs over to see if that’d help.
It’s probably not just specifically people using the wheel to play roblox, they probably have it still hooked up while they’re in studio and it causes the crash.
@MeshOfPaul Heya! Mostly tangential to the thread, but have there been any discussions internally about adding support for such specialized input devices? I own a vkb gladiator NXT flightsim stick & flight rudder pedals, but Roblox does not support them!
Supporting these types of devices would allow things like flight sims & space sims to be made with immersive controls on the platform!
