Low framerate in play solo with Nvidia G-SYNC

EDIT: Title was originally “low framerate after play solo” but I found out it was caused by Nvidia G-SYNC. I’ll leave this here.

I first noticed this bug today. It’s possible it started yesterday with the update, but I’m fairly sure I’ve used play solo since then. I haven’t heard of anyone else with this though.

To reproduce (for me only it seems…)

  1. Open studio
  2. Open blank baseplate (or anything)
  3. Play solo
  4. Get very low framerate almost instantly, even after play solo ends

The culprit seems to be this “Present” thing?

After I exit play solo, the framerate stays solid (bad) for a few seconds, and then sort of jumps up and down, and eventually returns to normal.

I’ve rebooted computer a few times, I tried reinstalling Studio, and I’ve disabled all my plugins.

EDIT: I found out what’s causing it. It occurs when Nvidia G-SYNC is enabled. Disabling allows me to use play solo without the weird frame rate.

Ah yeah, seems so. Was originally a different post but I didn’t realize it was a G-SYNC related issue before I updated.

Feel free to delete this thread, whoever. @Lilly_S maybe.
