Items are a great way of helping you survive against the lurker. They can be used to trap, slow down, restart the lurker, and so much more. As a survivor, unlocking items and finding them in-game is crucial.
Unlocking Items
Not all items are automatically unlocked. The first two items all players can access are the Flashlight, and the Bloxy Cola. Both of these items have relatively little use. To unlock items with more uses, you must use cash to purchase them from the item shop.
Once an item is unlocked, you can find the item in-game by looking through item crates. There are multiple crates around the map, which can be opened once every round. The item you get from the crate is randomly decided from all of your owned items(including the two default items).
Using Items
To use any item, just click or tap your screen while holding the item you want to use. Some items can be used once, but others can be used multiple(or infinite) times.
Items can be generally categorized under the following:

“Useless” Items
These are the two items(Bloxy cola, Flashlight) that every player has, regardless of what they buy in the shop. They have nearly no affect, and barely do anything. -
Trap Items
These are items that can only be triggered by the Lurker touching it. Usually, they are placed on the ground by a survivor, and then activate whenever the Lurker walks over it.
Unused items
Any items you have left over when a round ends are removed. You are only able to keep/use items that are from that round.
