When developing on Studio on my Mac, I am able to edit scripts and the workspace, but unable to test, both from a Play test and Local Server test launch. When starting the Play test button, the game hangs and I am able to still type in the scripts, but the Server and Client switch button isn’t functional (video attached). After a long delay (multiple minutes), the game shows a message about how the game is loading (photo attached). Occasionally, after the delay, the game will start successfully, but the communication (I’m assuming) between client and server takes an incredible amount of time and is unusable.
I have had Studio on this machine for about a year, but haven’t developed on it for almost 6-8 months, at which time it was working perfectly fine.

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling studio. I’m suspecting it’s a port issue or network issue. I tried looking at a similar thread (Mac can't play the project in studio) but the fix didn’t work for me, as the port works on both the localhost hostname and also 127.0.0.1.

Every single place seemingly has this issue, including brand new ones
Interestingly, when my experience was configured for Team Create, it would take an immense amount of time to even open up, and fail to do so half the time. Disabling this fixed this, but I believe these issues are all related.
I tested it locally and was able to run the game without any problems.
Given that this is a unique issue to you, it is possible that your local Mac setup is corrupted, so one option is to try to locally reset your settings (back them up and delete them).
We could also look at your Studio logs if the above fails.
