Machine Translations Break Manual Translations

Reproduction Steps:
Manual translation for a game I have worked on was corrupted by machine translations, lots of entries suddenly started having spelling mistakes with the vast majority of strings not matching with contents of the localization table with manual translations. The developer who is working on the game does not seem to be using Discord anymore and I can’t get in touch with them, but they have spent $1k+ on localization just for Roblox to break it.

Expected Behavior:
I expect the game to display my translation

Actual Behavior:
The localization system corrupts my translation

I can confirm this issue.

This is a critical matter, not only for us translators whose previous work is now ruined, but to all developers who spent their hard-earned cash on translation work.

I have experienced this as well in some of my friends games. Roblox should have a setting to turn it off.

They do, but the OP is saying that it does not work:

Well idk all ik is it doesn’t work when you turn it off i guess

Automatic translation has been nothing but a headache, I also experienced issues with it. It still pains me to see Roblox releasing features that everyone complains about.

Heylà, roblox seems to have a bad translation

It seems that the word SUPERMARKET was supposed to be SUPERMERCATO but badly translated, too for others
