My studio is getting roughly 20-40fps now on 617. This is a new thing which did not happen before. Sometimes it has .5s or so gaps in between the frames if you leave it minimized for a long time.
My CPU is choosing to operate like that, it goes up to 4.5GHz as needed, so Studio is not requesting it.
Windows version: 26085.1
Update: This seems to be a Windows issue. Performance on Mac seems to be unaffected.
I’ve been having this exact same problem, my fps stays around 40 and has pretty consistent drops.

I’m going to close this as can’t reproduce for now (author PM’d me a microprofiler dump, but says they hadn’t been able to get one when it stutters), but if you have a consistent repro or a microprofiler dump when it happens, please file another!
