As a Roblox developer, it is currently too hard to quickly be able to return to the game page after pressing “cancel” under the “configure this place” page.
It’s definitely a minor issue, but one that can be very annoying at times.
Clicking the page back button on my browser is a possible solution, but one that should be unnecessary as it should be built-in. I feel this because when using my muscle memory to browse sites, I expect buttons on the page to behave in the way I’m used to.
It can be extremely annoying when I’m scrolling through the long disaster of a list that my create page has become over the years and wanting to stay on the page of a certain game that was already hard enough to find once.
What I propose is for the browser to either remember if I came from the create page or the game page and return me to the relevant one. It could also have the button seen under the "configure this game page, which for some reason doesn’t exist under the configuring place page.
If Roblox is able to address this issue, it would improve my development experience because I would be able to quickly and efficiently navigate through my games without having to think of what I have to do in order to go back on my game’s main page to prevent me from having to navigate through long lists and constantly making the same mistake.
This could also serve as an argument for a search bar in the “create” page, but that’s a whole other issue in itself. And not always are the games that I scroll for are listed as “active”, so ticking that box doesn’t help me either.
