Memory leaks on Windows

Ever since last patch dropped, I had insane client memory usage no matter what games I played.
Sometimes it goes rogue and causes my machine to run out of RAM completely.
Genuinely disappointing to see such flaws from a corporation

System information:
Windows 11 25H2 26200.7462
AMD Ryzen 5 7535HS
NVIDIA RTX 4060 Mobile
16 GB DDR5 RAM

i have the same issue as well. usually roblox consumes around 1gb to 2gb of memory but recently it consumes all the way to 5gb the longer i stay ingame (i have 8gb of ddr3 ram) and i have to close and reopen roblox everytime it happens.

someone on reddit reported the same problem too, consuming ~15gb of ram…

i also spent a day on this recently, ended up testing new experience to see similar memory as my game; still 1+ gb over.
tested on phone vs desktop → memory fixed
gave up and took a break atp

This actually happened to me last week, I tried reinstalling ROBLOX completely and it temporarily fixed it. Now the problem is back.

NVIDIA RTX 3050 laptop GPU
32 GB DDR4 RAM (dual channel)

Roblox please, RAM is over 500 dollars now, you cannot be leaking memory :sob: I have so many things open and Roblox also sometimes crashes with OOM because of this.

I would suggest reversing the client and fixing it yourself, this company cannot do it, too focused on getting :money_bag:

(just a way to bump this up.)

Thank you for the report.

Can you provide the information from the Memory tab for the largest memory category?
If you can enable the MicroProfiler and show the Counters view that will help us even more.

Try playing on empty baseplate. Maybe the developers of the games you played didnt code the game to prevent memory leaks

nope. all games i play dont have any memory leaks at all, and this issue is persistent everywhere no matter what.

Ok but the second one it says fixed

(UntrackedMemory is the same culprit with counters enabled)

Hello @WheretIB,

here’s some client scripts that leaks on the client (or appears to):

Hope this helps
