Nope, it does let you but roblox automatically decrease the polygon count of the mesh and make it look like garbage.
Oh wow! I never even knew, Its been 20k since 2022?! Well thanks for letting us know!
currently can’t access my computer to check, but it may still be a beta feature that you have to enable
no it gives me a warning saying i cannot upload anything above 10k tris
wait whats the feature called? like if you know on the top of ur head
as I said I don’t currently have access to my computer to check but it’d be something related to mesh in the beta features window
alr imma look for it thank you for letting me know 2 years later
either that, or simply the mesh importer button on the home tab of the ribbon bar at the top
please explain this
Is this some mesh quantization optimization that is being tested?
Happening in some of my games as well, luckily not too bad though.
which mesh importer are you using
the import 3d one thats the only one i see
weird because using the import 3d button on the home tab I can import a 16k sphere perfectly fine
I checked the beta features it now appears to be live and no longer beta
what file type are you importing as?
either as glb, gltf, obj, and fbx (i tried all) and sorry for the late responce
fbx works best with the importer
seems really weird that you can’t import above 10k despite it supporting up to 20k
this happened yesterday, not sure if its still hapening today
this also happened to me of this bug
This still seems to be affecting the mesh packs uploaded by Roblox in the toolbox, almost all of the meshes are badly deformed, the template maps are messed up too
