So I received a Message from the Roblox Team stating:
What does this even mean?? Is it because I used the Studios logo for a temporary photo for a gamepass or is it for a different reason?

A Right of Erasure Request(RoER for short) is a request that a user sends to Roblox to completely clear their data from roblox. This however can only be done in places with privacy protection laws. Such as countries in the European Union, California, and Canada .
Roblox is asking you as said in the message to remove all records you have on this user. Which I’m assuming is in the Datastore of your game which is linked in the message.
I’m a newer developer, and not even a programmer, so how would they think that I collected information on someone? Is there a deadline to these sort of stuff? Doesn’t seem to be based on the message.
There isnt a deadline, however you are legally required to do this ASAP. Otherwise your game could be banned in those countries or worse, completely banned.
If you would like to remove it however, it’s simple. You can use a datastore editor plugin and check the datastores in your game with the userid as the key. And then from there remove all the data.
Thanks, I appreciate the advice. If I want to contact Roblox about this, do I just email them?
I am trying to use Roblox’s guide to deleting it but I got this message:
(Their guide: About GDPR and CCPA | Roblox Creator Documentation)
Can you send a screenshot of the file hierarchy of ServerStorage?
I don’t know if your problem about deleting Datastores has already been fixed, but you can try using Super Biz Datastore Editor for your game. I also use this for my game, and it allows me to easily remove and modify Datastore keys.
How do I even find the file hierarchy of ServerStorage? Do you just mean what scripts I have in there?
Thanks, I will try it and see if it works.
