I thoroughly enjoyed playing this game. You had just the right amount of suspense and jump scares to keep me on edge
The only problems I had with it was:
The walking soundâŚI sounded like a Mii character
The ending
The ending I had was called âanother nightmareâ. It wasnât bad but it did throw me off a bit. The shift from the basement to the hallway was epic! Loved it! But the dialogue between the character and the monster just seemed off. You could work a bit more on the execution of that. Make it so the player leaves chilled with what theyâve learned about themselves and the monster.
Otherwise, phenomenal job! Iâll be playing this again
I dont really know what im supposed to do, ive walked everwhere, and that random jumpscare happened, didnt even make me jump, just made me blind because of how saturated it was. Can you explain what is going on
alrighty, finished it, I think (was in a endless brick hallway with a pipe) jumpscares could get a bit better, and try to turn down the brightness, everything is fuzzy and it hurts my eyes.
Absolutely stunning! Well done! Only Horror Games that gave me chills. You could improve the UIâs, and the donation screen at the end was glitched. My cursor was stuck in the middle and I could not donate.
When creating a horror game you should always go by the method of show, donât tell. All-be it in every story some exposition is needed this one doesnât have enough too clue us into the âbigâ revile making it uninteresting and boring. With it the sound effects where all over the place, sometimes building atmosphere other times tearing it down. Having the monster drop hints off whatâs going on would work too improve the story.
Pros:
The way the stairs worked was done very well, working too build tension.
The first jump scare was done remarkably well, having nice build up too it and striking when our guard was lowered.
Cons:
The outside world was very dead, throwing my out of the environment. Iâd recommend using a mix of roblox terrain & trees too give the world a bit more life.
The dialog between you and the monster was too long and very boring. Also it didnât bring any attention too its self, add a little noise too indicate the dialog changed.
You should off left more hints to what was going on. This allows you too shorten down the discussion between the player and monster.
This little tutorial may help you when creating future horror games. Iâm looking forwards too whatever you produce next.
