im only calling this 1-ish because ive already started a while ago, but i want a place to archive progress whilst getting some feedback.
CURRENTLY FINISHED
old downtown as well as a knock-off billionaire’s row, one side of 2 train stations and some medium density buildings between the taller ones. outline for the the newer downtown and other developments are complete and are being worked on
its been a good 150 hours or so to get to this point. right now im making this as a showcase, because i started this project kinda out of boredom and as something to do on the side
Wow, it looks like a city out of city skylines 2 honestly. It gives off that minimalist yet maximalist vibe, showing order (the street layout) across chaos (different sized buildings, positive), looking like a game, although deep down feeling google earth. Looks amazing
might as well add this: i didnt list this on the post but i ended up finishing it today because i got a bit distracted looking at oil refineries.
this is probably the most complicated since i tried to follow how refineries really work. this area includes everything from boiling, distillation, hydrotreating, coking, cracking, and so much more. everything is also seperated from each other, things like naphtha, gasoline and heavy oils.
