Please Remember: I currently can’t post in #bug-reports.
This is a new, lesser variation of Most Assets Fail To Load.
I didn’t open Roblox Studio from a month ago (Aug. 25), and it was absolutely fine.
This rendering error happened as I opened it since. (Sep. 21)
But there were no errors printed in console.
Rendering failed for Textures in Meshes and Unions (all plastic-looking), Textures and Decals but somehow not for ImageLabels inside SurfaceGUI and Decals inside ViewportFrames.
Audio, Meshes (w/o color), Animations, Clothing, & Characters load correctly. And the catalog ofc still works.
Issue Area: Engine
Issue Type: Display
Impact: Very High
Frequency: Always
Date Experienced: Since September 21, 2024.
Actual Behavior
a, b, c, d
Expected Behavior (IN-GAME POV)
pt 1, pt 2 (both didn’t record sound)
Obviously it is my laptop’s fault since, it is a local problem and no one ever posts this kind of topic recently.
Failed Solutions:
- Deleting and Reinstalling Roblox and Studio (and also both at the same time)
- Deleting AppData\Local\Roblox & Local\Roblox Studio (and also both at the same time)
- Uninstalling AppData\Local\Temp\Roblox\http (http cache)
To be clear, I didn’t;
• damage my computer heavily in any accident. (However vibrations happen as I take the laptop with me because we drove on motorcycles.)
• update my drivers EVER since I got my laptop. (But I really don’t think that is the issue.)
But is it weird that rendering textures and decals works ONLY IN-GAME but not the editor and accurate play solo in Studio?
So may I ask you simply…
What is wrong with my laptop?
