I’m Ralphie0511, the creator of a Roblox game called Pan Simulator. Due to some issues involving revenge on one of the Pan Simulator community members, I’ve had to deal with exploit attacks and strengthening defense in a sophisticated manner, and I was okay with resolving manners on my own, even when they declared war on Pan Simulator.
However, today I have to make my first ever DevForum post as today I learned that the Pan Simulator attacker had indeed obtained a copy of the file, and has reuploaded the entire game on an alt account created today and is threatening to upload it onto the DevForums, although I’m standing my ground. (no main account)
As I’ve said, I’m willing to fight for Pan Simulator. I’m seeing how I would be able to get the game taken down, or what other actions you recommend I proceed with
If you have any questions, please ask me below and I’ll get back to it. I appreciate you taking the time to read this
I’m unaware as to how they got a copy of the file, unfortunately. I wanna mention they hacked someone’s account by tricking them into downloading extensions, but they had no access to the game
It’s obviously a bad situation for someone to threaten you with a copy of your game you made. Id contact roblox support about it. Even if they do post the game in devforum Roblox will likely take action upon it. They also need to have a week of reading posts.
Since this is your first post, I recommend adding a goal on what you need help with in your post. Your post is pretty much formatted in a way as if your updating your player base on another social media website.
I’ve experienced this in the past, literally don’t do anything. If they actually release it then DMCA, otherwise just ignore it. People will always do that and there’s no way to prevent it.
They have released it, how would I go about DMCA? I don’t wanna have to give out my personal information such as my address, are there any alternatives (e.g. support)
If support, would I select DMCA and contact them normally explaining the situation?
Alright man, thank you for the reply. I don’t wanna include personal information, but I believe it may be necessary unfortunately. Thanks so much for all the replies, it means a lot
Don’t fight the war, make peace!
I know exactly what these angry idiots could do, and you really shouldn’t enrage them.
Roblox does nothing for gradual dislike botting and ddosing, which are illegal services that can be easily bought online cheaply.
I suggest you to find the main issue causer, have a talk, give some robux and apologize, a little humility might save your entire game.
Hi there! Thanks for the reply, I really do believe we share similar viewpoints I really, really hate fighting people. It is always in my best interest and wellbeing to try and avoid arguments altogether, and try to resolve them as quickly as I can.
Unfortunately, in terms of the Pan Simulator attacker, this option was already thrown out the window. This has been going on for MONTHS, and even then I think if anything, my own desire to be nice to people will be my demise. It’s a complicated story, I will try and explain it at a later date
Yes, I do agree with the statement that Roblox doesn’t do anything at all for gradual dislike botting/ddosing, as this has already happened to Pan Simulator before. In fact, dislike bombing was the first method used for the Pan Simulator attacker.
In all honesty, I really need to give credit to the Pan Simulator attacker, as his desire and dedication to destroying Pan Simulator is truly beyond anyone’s level. He’s already assembled this entire team, and even showed me that they had actually developed an entire software/code program dedicated to exploiting Pan Simulator vulnerabilities.
However, as this was a team, I spoke to the guy in charge, and we made peace separately, although it’s complicated, he wanted to stop this before his friend refused, destroying the friendship (which I do regret in some ways) Overall, I have confidence that this attacker can’t destroy Pan Simulator, as I can tell they have been getting angry at how much of a resistance I’ve been responding with accordingly.
