My roblox script editor is lagging, how do I fix this?

Hello all! I have been trying to make a map choosing script for my game, and my roblox script editor isn’t working. Here is an example of what I am talking about:

As you can see, this doesn’t happen when I’m building, but in the scripting editor. When I type a letter, it is severly delayed which I can’t code with. I don’t know how to fix it, because all of the possible solutions that I could come up with such as:

  • Checking the power supply
  • Removing all plugins from my plugins menu
  • Deleting all instances of roblox studio on my computer, uninstalling, then reinstalling roblox studio
  • Trying to edit a script on a different place

haven’t worked at all. My goal is to try to get this to be fixed. Any solutions to my problem are greatly appreciated, thanks!

Do you use an NVIDIA graphics card? If so, try disabling GSync for Studio if it is enabled and see if that fixes the problem.

try disabling VSync/BeamSync

I have disabled VSync, however roblox studio seems to keep freezing.
