Need some advice

Hi,

I’ve been working on this game called PewPew POWA! for quite some time now as a solo dev. I think it’s at a point where players can genuinely enjoy the the game. I’ve been running campaigns, marketing on various social media platforms, still nothing. Is it a waiting game? Is my game just not fun? I’m lost at this point. Any feedback or advice would be much appreciated.

Game: PewPew POWA! - Roblox

Thanks

Honestly, the game is pretty fun! However, it might not be the best for kids, as the controls can be overwhelming. Kids tend to prefer simpler games, which is why simulators are so popular they often just require clicking or auto-grinding.

Also, I’d recommend setting a loading time limit, it took me a few seconds to load, and that’s crucial because you need to engage the player within the first 2-3 minutes to keep them playing, and that will decide if they will keep playing or not.

Edit: After the tutorial, I can’t play anymore (besides repeating the tutorial or practice mode), because there are no lobbies, maybe you could add a campaign mode where you play against a bot or something.

I appreciate you testing it out!

The thing with PvP games is you need a player base for players to even play with. I was thinking about adding in some bots, but that’s not really what my game is about. I get your point though
