New Feedback Dashboard - See Detailed Feedback from Your Community

Another request: Please add the feedback comments to the exportable CSV file button. Would love to toss this file to ChatGPT and have AI summarize 1000s of ratings concisely with the biggest items to attack first. For now, I am happily reading all of these page by page.

Please add a button like “Translate to [language]” under the feedback text as do the comment sections of YouTube have!

Unlike auto translate, this allows us to keep the original user content while being able to quickly view the translated content

This update deserves a trophy or perhaps an entire monument commemorated by a 10-mile parade and a month-long feast. I’d love to shake the hand of every individual involved in its fulfillment.

I heavily agree with this. Being able to reply to feedback comments would greatly improve the connection between developers and their communities.

A little bit confused, as someone who is on an Android Phone managed to write a review for my experience in March despite it being PC Only for the last 9 months straight? In fact, the experience has been PC only for nearly a year now.

Love the idea of saving specific feedback and we’ve been discussing something to help with the feedback loop back to the player like a “Thank the player” button or some way to mark something as fixed/addressed.

We’d really love to, it’s just a bit complicated with age and privacy restrictions. We tested a version that had multiple select to get around this limit but we felt this ended up being more valuable for Roblox (we can see the difference between different experiences across the platform) vs the developer behind a specific experience. Nothing concrete or planned at the moment but it is something that’s on our radar.

Loving the play-by-play feature requests :joy: This is currently supported and exactly for that reason! Click the export above the table, not the chart view. Let me know if that isn’t working for some reason!

Could we be able to customise the text in this window (having separate ones for upvote & downvote)? I can’t think of an example off the top of my head, but I can imagine having a prompt tailored towards the experience might encourage some people to commit with providing feedback.

Also allowing players to provide feedback from within the experience, through a core UI window, would also be great. This has already been done in the past using webhooks but it would be much better having it integrated with the official feedback system.

The only problem I can think of getting in the way of this idea is that player’s need to either upvote or downvote the experience first which can’t be done in-game at the moment.

This is a great addition though and will help a lot with guiding development and adjusting gameplay to improve it.

Oh how embarrassing. Sure enough, there’s an export CSV above the comments in addition to the ratings. Thanks!

Lots of great ideas! For the initial launch, associating it with the rating felt like an easy way to take an existing feedback interaction and sort of ‘intercept’ it to make the rating a more valuable signal for creators. Long term, I can definitely see us iterating on where and how we prompt players to leave feedback. I would also love to add support for a custom flow. For example, we know lots of creators are building things like bug reporting and customer support-like flows, would be awesome to have on-platform support for that rather than needing to DIY a solution.

Nah, it’s good feedback! We’re talking about how we can improve this so it doesn’t trip folks up, I’m sure you’re not the only one

To my team, when given kids for feedback, it’s not very helpful to get “It sucks”. Maybe, if we could try filtering from higher quality responses… would be awesome. Thanks team. Appreciate the intention.

this is like the fourth BANGER update that roblox has dropped today. I’ve been waiting for this feature for so long and am excited to see the feedback given to help me better understand my like ratio

Very cool, been waiting for device breakdowns of ratings for a while, the comment feature is nice as well.

Most likely, the player rated from their mobile after playing your experience on their desktop

This is awesome! But, I have a few questions:

  • Are players told if their message gets moderated? It could be a concern if players start reporting important bugs but there’s a false-positive with the filter, deleting all their submissions
  • What if they change their rating? Are they allowed to re-submit?

Would the Play-Time detail be added? It would be nice to determine how long the player actually played for.

Also a way to notify the player that their feedback has been noticed would be cool too

This is honestly so amazing! Thank you so much for this!!!

This is a great addition! However, we are unable to see who posted it, reasons that might be important to include this example:

In order to debug/investigate this alleged issue, I would need more than just a time and device. The only way I see is by searching the error analytics before timestamp on the feedback.

Yeah I mean I can see why, they don’t want to share the information of a user in the case the developer punishes the user for leaving a bad review.

Depending on how popular your game is you could check in on purchase history see if you have any purchases of eggs around his time of review or alternatively depending on how clear you keep the output you can check error history to see if anything had gotten logged that could lead to a fix.

While you might not be able to help resolve all past failures you can work on preventing new ones from occurring.
