Hey Creators,
We’re excited to announce the launch of a new feedback feature which will give you more insight into how your community feels about your experience!
Listening to community feedback is a crucial part of making a great experience, and we know that it hasn’t been easy to track down or understand player sentiment. With this new feedback feature, you will be able to easily visualize sentiment trends over time and view detailed feedback from players who rate your experience.
Now, when someone leaves a rating, they will also have the option to share a more detailed comment about what they liked or disliked.
To view your community feedback:
-
Head over to your Creations page and select the experience you want to view feedback for. Note that you’ll need analytics permissions to view feedback on an experience you don’t own
-
On the left, scroll down to the Audience section and click on the Feedback tab.
If you don’t see it, make sure you own or have analytics permission on the experience you’re trying to view and refresh your browser cache -
You can learn more about how to use the feedback dashboard here
The dashboard includes a daily breakdown of positive and negative ratings on your experience as well as a more detailed view below that for reading through individual comments. The qualitative feedback can be combined with other data sources, like analytics, to help you identify opportunities to improve the player experience.
View sentiment trends over time with the ratings chart - As users play your experience, they may decide to upvote or downvote it depending on how it went. When you ship new updates to your experience, you may see these ratings trend up or down depending on if many players enjoy it or if they dislike the content or experience game-breaking bugs.
See how sentiment shifts over specific time periods - Adjust the date range to look into how feedback changes week over week or month over month. You’ll see a summary of both total volume of ratings and if the percent of upvotes is higher or lower compared to the previous time window.
Dig into the details - The most exciting addition with this new dashboard is the detailed comment table. When a player rates your experience, they also have an option now to leave a comment. This table shows their rating (at the time) and what device/platform they were on. (We’re also working on adding AI-powered summaries to help you quickly digest large amounts of feedback!)
A few other notes and limitations with this rollout:
-
The dashboard has limited historical data. While we wish we could give you a full lookback, the ratings chart view only goes as far back as February 1, 2025. We started slowly rolling out the player-facing feature at the end of March so you should start to see a full breakdown of ratings and comments after ~March 17.
-
You may notice an inconsistency between the player app and what we show on the votes chart, this is intentional. Rather than updating votes live, we retain the original votes each day, even if the player later changes their rating so you can see how sentiment changes over time.
-
Comments are limited to 13+ users and are processed through our text filters for safety. We also included an option to report and hide inappropriate or irrelevant comments via the (…) menu. We will be monitoring these reports and may add more granular reporting options in the future.
-
At the time, all comments will be shown in their original language, but we are exploring options for direct translation on the dashboard in the future. We recommend using an alternative, like a browser-based translation tool, in the interim to read feedback from players in different languages.

Ratings feedback from the web-version of Roblox is coming very soon!
We’d love to hear YOUR feedback in the replies. Let us know what sort of features you hope to see in future iterations of this or any other feedback tools!
