Gonna have to disagree. Focusing solely on ID verification just makes the platform less welcoming towards those less comfortable with giving up online privacy. Just because I have nothing to hide does NOT mean I should give up my privacy.
It’s silly to treat a 5 year old account with no moderation history the same as a 2 minute old account, but under this system that’s exactly what happens. It’s a “guilty until proven innocent” system. I really hope they allow options for non-verified developers to expand their upload limit without verifying
Many people, including myself, are uncomfortable with handing over personal information. Acting like they’re a lower class of developers is just rude. Though it is true that somebody who already makes a living on Roblox would probably be comfortable verifying, the same can’t be said for a new developer who wants to get started, but is severely restrained by the upload limit.
