New In-Game Topbar

A slice of the background is different in transparency. I’ve only seen this happen now.

The new ESC menu isn’t out for everyone, so I went on my alt (WeeWDiedrich2) to see if I have the new menu, and sure enough, I do.

It doesn’t look half bad to be completely honest, it’s a modern take on the menu and I like that.
Yes, you can still do ESC + R + Enter to reset and ESC + L + Enter to leave the game.

Regarding the camera sensitivity issue, if you have the sensitivity set to what you want before you get the update, when the update comes to you your camera sensitivity will be the same. (edit: It turns out that they just added a 0 sensitivity setting, good move Roblox!)

On my alt, for some reason when I use the Roblox PC App instead of the Roblox Client, I have the old menu, and on Mobile the menu is just flat out broken (the options are in the wrong places).

I hope this rolls out to all users soon!

Is it just me, or does the chat feel really off? It just doesn’t seem to fit in with the top bar.

Improvement!

There are a few things that I believe should be changed though…

  1. The ROBLOX icon has a gradient and a drop shadow while the other ones do not. This creates inconsistency but if anything it makes it feel like a watermark.

  2. The chat feels really weird/off compared to the new style for the leaderboard and the top bar. Is this being updated soon?

I love the new modern look, but there are a few issues with it. The new change makes it difficult to switch to the inventory quickly. This makes things drastically more difficult for people who do virtual dance, cheer, or any other sports that require the use of many animations.

Though we could definitely keep the new look, I personally think it would have been better to move the inventory and emotes button back to where it was originally.

It looks good, it’s nice and modern, just feels really empty at the moment but nothing we can’t get used too.

I was able to recreate a look alike menu to match with the menu button that shows (using :SetCore("TopbarEnabled"), but the gui is just indeed a bit off not exactly perfect, but close.

Just one little bug.
While i’ve used :SetCore() to completely remove the GUI I still have to use :SetCoreGuiEnabled() to remove the health bar that is shown in the top right. Pictured below.

The reason why it looks like that is because they are also working on the new Menu for Roblox. It is suppose to look like this. It is for testing.

Where’s the 3 dotted button on your menu? Are there different versions or something?

The 3 dotted button next to the leave button adds the options to reset character, record a video and take a screenshot. Why don’t you have that?

The developer would have disabled the Respawn Character button, which makes that 3 dot menu disappear

But in the 3 dotted buttons you can take screenshots and videos, So I think it might be broken.

The developer of the game disabled the Reset.

I get that I’ve tested it now, But if you wanted to take screenshots but don’t know the keybind for it how would you take screenshots/vidoes?

You have to use F12 for video and print screen for screenshot (on my Windows PC)

I know the keybinds, But I mean for the people who don’t know the keybinds.

I really do not like this change at all. It does not fit well with custom UI. It’s not even positioned all the way to the left. The hamburger menu was better because it could easily work with most custom UIs. Please make a way to set the UI back to this version if we want custom UIs.

I thought that this would look bad, but now finally experiencing it in its full effect, I love it! It looks very sleek and new. Great update, Roblox!
