New Virus in my game?

Recently i have been working on a huge project and i have been stumbling across errors in output that had nothing to do with my previous scripts.Once i click on the error it takes me to scripts inside parts(i have around 30-60 of them in my game or even more)

i really dont know how to fix this :confused:

There are usually two culprits for viruses, plugins and free models. Have you checked either of these sources for stuff that looks malicious?

im not the builder i never really looked into the stuff they made,i seen them build everythign in the game tho

My builder says he built everything from scratch(i seen him do that),ill ask him to try and fix and probably delete all the scripts(the scripts are only inside parts)

First of all, you can find every script in your game by using the search bar at the top of the explorer and typing in Script, as it looks for ClassNames as well as just script names.

Second of all, if you are part of a dev team, you should ask them if they have any malicious plugins as well. As far as I know, reputable plugins can be found here on the devforum, but you can also check the plugin dev’s profile to see if they are a bit suspicious.

@goldenstein64 is there anyway to delete every script in the game(Only in workspace,like code wise)

You can use the command line, probably something like this:

for _,scr in pairs(workspace:GetDescendants()) do if scr:IsA("LuaSourceContainer") then scr:Destroy() end end

This will destroy every module script, server script, and local script in workspace.

Yes,best thing to do is check your plugins,or check your developers plugins to see if their not trussted(i deleted all of them instead of doing this) down below

Try using Ro-Defender. I’m not sure.

then all my players will have to take their free model(un-professsional)

Nope? Ro-Defender works in studio, and removes everything that’s detected as a virus.
