Welcome to the November 2024 Competition guide! Olympic Gymnast Competition (OGC) hosts a gymnastic competition once a month. Each gymnast will show their routine for each of the four events (vault, beam, bars, and floor), and a judge will score them based on deductions and routine requirements. Any member of OGC is able to compete. The following document has rules, information, signups, and the schedule you will need to participate in the competition. Remember to check out this guide as well if you have any questions not answered here.
Competition Rules:
Follow all Roblox community guidelines and rules. Everyone is expected to follow Roblox’s community guidelines at all time. Please review Roblox’s rules here.
-
Be a good sport and be respectful. Putting down other gymnasts, teams, or groups is disrespectful. Please be supportive, and don’t talk badly of others. It’s not about winning, it’s about bringing the community together.
-
Only compete on one account. Competing on multiple accounts is considered cheating in this competition, as it allows players to gain more points for team scores. Please only compete on one account.
-
If you are competing for a team, make sure you are actually a member of that team. Teams have Roblox groups, and you must be a member of that group to represent them in the competition.
-
Arrive on time and be organized. Arriving late for your scheduled time to compete will result in disqualification. Make sure you know what time you’re competing and arrive on time. We cannot allow routine/event redos or start-overs. Remember to convert time zones from EDT (Eastern Timezone), which is used on the schedule.
Competition Changes
- As of November 2024, we will temporarily be having one time session per competition. We’ve carefully selected a timezone that fits the needs of the most amount of players. This time session is 2pm Eastern time.
- As of November 2024, we are allowing pre-registration as we always have, along with gymnasts who would like to show up 15 minutes early to the competition and sign up with our staff in-game. This is the first time since January 2017 that we have allowed this.
Please be sure to arrive for those 15 minutes early to allow us to ask you questions about you. Here are the questions will we ask, so please have this information ready:
What is your username?
What team are you representing?
Will you be competing in pommel horse?
What level are you competing as?
What floor music would you like to compete with? Here are the options
Competition Signups, Schedules, and Results:

Frequently Asked Questions
-
I am not on the schedule, why not?
If you are not on the schedule, it means your signup was invalid or you were too late signing up. Most commonly, it is from invalid song IDs, multiple signups, and not agreeing to the terms, or signing up after spots fill up. -
Why didn’t I get to do one of my routines?
If you did not compete in one of the events, it means you were either AFK, in the wrong server, or out of the game during your call. Due to time constraints and fairness, we cannot have re-dos or have certain gymnasts make up for what they’ve missed. -
What if I don’t have a team?
Many gymnasts in the OGC competition compete as an individual gymnast. It is essentially the same, but you don’t compete for a certain team or contribute towards a team award. You may wear whatever leotard or athletic outfit you wish. -
I have a question and it’s not mentioned here, what should I do?
You should tweet to @RobloxGymnastic (we may not see direct messages, so send a tweet), or ask fellow gymnasts in game or on the group wall, or ask a staff member. We’re happy to help!
Best of luck to everyone competing this month! It’s not about winning, but bringing the community together.
