Ok, how does this UGC Publishing Advance work?

Hello all,

I recently just uploaded my first UGC item without knowing too much (yes i screwed up the camera angle a bit, no I don’t care). Once I uploaded, I saw this “publishing advance” thing, where I needed to pay 1k Robux to publish, but there would be no tax until I recoup these costs. Now, with a few sales, I’m noticing I’m only getting 30% of the sales money. What happened to Roblox not taking a tax? Is the transactions menu just showing incorrect stuff? What am I missing?

I saw a similar topic on this, although it was rather put into words

“Hidden Fees/Taxes” on UGC, as the the OP put it in their topic.

But yeah, currently Roblox isn’t too transparent with the whole UGC System.
